Summary: Very clean, very comfortable beds, I couldn’t have slept in the upstairs due to the low ceiling rafters I’d have hit my head, beautiful views from lounge / bedroom, everything you could possible need inside. Was a little disappointed there was no welcome pack/wine usually this is left & especially at Xmas time. We were 15 minutes late leaving at 10.15, the cleaner I’d say was quite rude didn’t want to speak to us & didn’t appear to be a very nice person so we felt it kind of put a bit of a dampner on our final day as we hurried out. But it’s a lovely clean bungalow to a high standard

Summary: Simply stunning accommodation, very stylish and comfortable furnishings and beds. Immaculately clean and well equipped. Owners have thought of everything. Our teenage daughter loved the upstairs room and Alexa was a huge bonus! Location and views are gorgeous from the front and rear of the property. Highly recommended. 10/10

Summary: This was the best cottage we have ever stayed in. It was relaxing to gaze out at the view of Derwent water and the fells beyond. My daughter loved watching shrews in the garden and my husband loved having Netflix and music courtesy of Alexa! The cottage is conveniently placed for all amenities in Keswick. We cannot wait to book again for our next visit to the Lakes.

Summary: We were a family of four adults and two children. Plenty of room, spotlessly clean, lovely fixtures and fittings. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of outdoor furniture. Walk into Keswick takes approximately 15 mins. Dustbins not labelled and difficult to understand what went where.

Summary: Brandlehow is an extremely comfortable and well equiped property. My only complaint is with the local agents - Cumbrian Cottages. Arriving early after a 200 mile plus journey during which my husband was taken ill, we asked politely if we may enter the property early. The assistant sitting opposite the door of the office was most unhelpful. We srated that we didnt want to unpack byt just to get my husband near a bathroom. We met a flat NO. We aporeciate the need to clean and the property was indeed spotless. It was just a shame tgat a 70 years plus person was forced to sit outside a supermarket fir over 2 hours to be near a bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed Brandehow but unfortuneatly left early for home as my husband was still unwell
