A welcoming holiday home at any time of the year with a cosy wood burner in the spacious living room and a Rayburn in the kitchen, as well as lovely views from all rooms. Guests arrive to a generous welcome pack with freshly laid eggs and local produce as well as cosy robes and toiletries.
An ideal base for exploring one of Scotland’s most picturesque areas of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, and with easy access to Glasgow and Stirling. The popular tourist town of Drymen can be reached in under 10 minutes and is ideal for picking up supplies, having a meal out or visiting the historic monuments. If you enjoy outdoor activities, then you are spoilt for choice with walking, cycling, golf, fishing and water sports all available nearby, alongside the West Highland Way which passes nearby. Enjoy a cruise on Loch Lomond seeing the breath-taking scenery from the water and discover the islands for stately homes on the shore.
The area has a rich history and the ancient city of Stirling is just 25 miles away with its famous castle, Wallace Monument and Bannockburn Visitor Centre, along with many historic links to people such as Rob Roy Macgregor, William Wallace and Mary Queen of Scots, all of whom had a part to play in the history of this area.

Summary: What an absolute gem of a find this property was!! We holidayed with 2 friends and 2 dogs and couldnt have wanted for anything better. This accomidation was clean, exceptionally well equipped with EVERYTHING you should need and with a generous garden for the dogs. Drymen was just a short drive away or walkable if you felt able and had a really lovely butcher,3 nice pubs and a Spar where you could get all your provisions. The views from the cottage where amazing across open countryside and if lucky afforded you a wonderful sun set. The owner was very welcoming and available should we need and provided a generous welcome pack of butter, yoghurts eggs etc As wrll as providing us with useful information about the surrounding area. It was a great base for exploring the Loch lomand area and further afield to places like Stirling should you wish. 2 places worthy of a visit, in our opinion, where Luss village which was very picturesque and Balloch country park with beautiful walks for the dogs and great views of Loch Lommand. With further regard to the property ,it was a real home from home and one I would definitely recommend . Thank you for a great stay x💕

Summary: Clean, warm, welcoming, and full of every gadget we might possibly have had need for, plus some enjoyable artwork. Enclosed garden was great for dogs, and a good size. Beds comfortable, living area cosy, and kitchen always warm, thanks to the Rayburn.

Summary: Beautiful location, very welcoming hosts with fresh local produced provided as a welcome pack. Lots of space and comfort for adults, children and the dog! Could have dine with a DVD player but only a small niggle in an otherwise perfect situation. Will definately be coming back.

Summary: This was one of the best cottages we have stayed at. Comfortable and very well equipped. Beth was friendly and helpful while still remaining discreet. Set in beautiful country side, the views from all the windows were stunning. It was within a short driving distance to a selection of good pubs and shops and the train station for Glasgow. Excellent

Summary: A great central location to lots of interesting places. Away from the hustle and bustle of the busy spots but not far to go and explore them. Personally I think it’s the ideal location to explore Loch Lomond. Water board turned water off overnight during our stay and the owners ensured we had plenty of water to ensure no inconvenience. A must place to stay and visitors are spoilt.

Summary: Beth has ensured the cottage is a real home-from-home, and the welcome pack is wonderful. It made a refreshing change for a cottage describing its garden as dog friendly to actually be that; there wasn't a chance of our dog escaping from there!

Summary: Kilmaronock Cottage is a home from home it has everything you could possibly need. We felt so at home from the moment we walked in. Beth was always at the end of the phone not that we needed her as she has catered for every eventuality but did ask us if we needed more eggs from the farm just let her know and she would drop them off which she very kindly did. The welcome pack is so lovely and thoughtful, fresh hen, duck and quail eggs, fresh milk and orange juice, homemade yoghurt and butter, even home baking what more could you ask for? The cottage is in a quiet and peaceful location set well back from the road, our little dog especially enjoyed the garden and watching the highland cows.
