It’s the kind of place families and friends return to, year after year. Spend your days kayaking, fishing off the docks, or relaxing on the sugar sand beach. Take a peaceful walk along the private nature path, then end the day with sunset views and quiet evenings under the stars around the firepit.

About this Space:
Bedroom 1: One Queen Bed and One Double Bed | Bedroom 2: One Bunk Bed, Full on the bottom, Twin on the Top | Additional: One Rollaway Bed
With only two bedrooms, space can be tight if vacationing with 6+.
Outdoor space: The cabin is 40 feet from the beach. The boat dock is in a protected channel that connects to Mille Lacs Lake (Previous guests have caught bass off the boat dock), a 74 ft viewing dock with a sitting area (seasonal). The beach leads into a shallow sandy swimming area, perfect for families to soak up the sun and create summer memories. You will also have a charcoal grill, fire pit, deck overlooking the lake with a table, chairs, and hammock chairs (seasonal). Outdoor spaces are shared with our other listing.
Water Access - Boating: Water levels fluctuate year to year, be
mindful when navigating the bay and channel.
Indoor space: 880 square feet, a gas stove (fireplace), dining table, Smart TV with Roku, and board games/books.
Kitchen: Reverse osmosis filtered water tap, dishwasher & detergent, fridge, oven with electric stovetop, microwave, drip coffee maker, toaster, cooking basics, dishware and kid's dinnerware, and flatware.
General: Free WiFi, zoned heating, A/C in main living area, ceiling and portable fans, washer/dryer & detergent, linens/towels, complimentary toiletries, hair dryer, and paper products.
Note: The property includes two exterior security cameras on the east side of the property. The cameras actively record video and audio. Stairs are required for access.
Parking: 2-3 cars/trailer max can park in the driveway directly in front of the garage.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was cozy and had everything we needed. Great outdoors space for a fire and viewing the lake. One warning for boats: we rented a pontoon from nearby with the plan of using it off and on for a day while docking it in the back channel at the cabin like the rental says. With a regular sized pontoon motor trimmed about halfway, I was not able to access the back channel as the entrance was too shallow and I got stuck in the sand in multiple spots. The water was less than a foot according to the depth finder. The lake may be low this summer - but we didn’t see any warnings to think otherwise until I was actively trying to get back there with a boat. I’m not docking my rating for that since it’s not about the cabin but it would have saved us a lot of headache to be aware of this.

Summary: We enjoyed a few days of R&R, beautiful sunsets, great hospitality, and accommodations. The cabin is set up beautifully for guests and the hosts seem to have thought of everything that made us feel welcome. Communication with them couldn't have been better. We will be back!

Summary: Tara and Dave were great hosts! They checked up on us throughout our stay to make sure we didnt need anything but there was nothing we could possibly need from them because the house was fully stocked with everything we needed. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. My fiance and I chose this location to celebrate my 27th birthday and we weren't disappointed, the shallow clear warm water was perfect for swimming and the dock was incredible for enjoying the sunsets each night with surprisingly no bugs! The only thing we would have done differently is stay longer. Thanks for making my birthday one to remember, we hope to be back some day!
