Summary: Condo was exactly how photos showed. Right on 5th which was perfect for us but may not be so perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet, you will not find it here. We did not mind the hustle and bustle of the street life and people. The unit was small, OK for a 3 day stay but for a month it gets tight. Limited space to sit and enjoy the TV as it is awkwardly set up. There was a large 6 person dining table along with 3 bar stools so too much for 2 people. The space should be used for more comfortable furniture. And a TV in the bed area would have been great. Note sure this qualifies as a 1 bedroom, it's basically a studio with a sliding door. Condo was a little shy on kitchen utentils and could have used a microwave instead of toaster oven. We only had 4 of each utensil which made it difficult when preparing meals or having company over. Same goes with glasses and mugs, Just not enough of anything. Not convinced that mandatory weekly cleaning is necessary. So you may want to negotiate that when you book. However our cleaning lady was very thorough, polite and cleaned like a boss. (was a little expensive, we thought) Please tip generously. Street life is loud but for us not an issue. We literally looked down on 5th and it was great. The pool was nice and always clean and fresh. HOWEVER there were only 4 lounge chairs, 2 that were broken so really only 2 for a 16 unit (32 person) building. The chairs were sent for repair so there were 3 days when we did not have any at all. We had a small party up on the rooftop with 10 people, cooked our food in the condo then took it up top. This worked but a grill would have been so much better. The building was well looked after. But it would have been great if the security people were able to speak at least a bit of english. This is a challenge for sure. Sign language is not my strong point but somehow we managed. Lots of construction! Beach access is easy and only a 15 min walk down to 66 or 88. But sadly the beaches were horrible. Dirty, stinky and full of mounds of seaweed. Not the condos fault but note for this time of year, seaweed is a serious issue and it makes the ocean unswimmable! Yes I would book here again, the ambiance of the street and the excitement of the people made it enjoyable. Property management were always available and ready to assist. NOTE Be sure to have lots of cash or pesos as cleaning fees, electricty fees cannot be paid by credit card.

Summary: LENGTH OF STAY: 24 DAYS First off, my hostess Claudia Gonzalez was phenomenal! She held my hand throughout the process. I'm an author, 65+, and wanted the place to be my writer's retreat. The apartment was perfect and I am almost finished with my book! (GEORDI LOVES JERICKA..A YA NOVEL). Pictures of the apartment did not tell the entire tale...it was awesome. Very well decorated. Music from the clubs was not too bad. In fact...I enjoyed it. Helped my creative process. The area was safe. Never had a problem when I walked around at night alone with my trusty cane. Only problem: I wished there was a microwave oven. Other than that...I'm returning next year for an extended stay: I'm completing my third book!

Summary: This place has everything you could need! The location is right around the corner from 5th avenue which has restaurants, shops, convenience stores and anything else you could possibly want within a short walking distance. The host is also extremely responsive to messages and questions which is always nice

Summary: This property is very well run and is located on the north edge of the downtown area. That makes it easy to walk into the main downtown area, but also to visit the wonderful corner groceries, restaurants, and food carts of the quieter Colosio neighborhood. One of the best beaches in town, quiet and undeveloped, is nearby with free access. This condo was as described, clean, safe and very well managed. The rooftop view of the sea is wonderful. The owner, Claudia, is fluent in English and very quick to reply to any questions or concerns. The staff was friendly and eager to help. If you don't know Spanish, fire up Google Translate or another app to help with check-in. A great booking. I will return.

Summary: This was our first condo for a week into our month long mexico trip and it was great to get our bearings in playa. It’s def on quiet end of 5th on north side so if you aren’t wanting the rowdiness of the clubs and want to sleep at night this is it. Pool is a little smal but never that busy and everything is clean and well kept. Can’t beat the price and Claudia was super helpful even one day when we locked our selves out! Def would recommend

Summary: The building and facilities are great. You are on 5th so it is easy to walk around and get to the beach and lots of restaurants. Claudia responded to my messages in a timely manner. Check-in was a breeze so was the check out process. Keys go in the lockbox and you get the codes for the door a few days early. Kitchen was adequately stocked with utensils. A wonderful bonus was reverse osmosis water on tap! Also, the wifi was great, video calls were clear without interference.
