Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Joelle and Christian’s gite. Both very helpful; neither speak English but Joelle is very animated so you should get the gist of what she is saying. Location was good - easy access to Avignon, Arles, Apt etc. Lots of little cute villages to visit in the area. The gite is exactly as the photos. Very quiet and private. Secure parking onsite. Had everything we needed. The village is small, very quiet; no real vibe but Le Bistrot and the Maison de Celou are both good for dinner. Also try the “Vin + Fromage” is good for a charcuterie board and wine for lunch. Joelle is very house-proud - she will inspect the gite before you leave so make sure you get everything clean and tidy.

Summary: We had a lovely week in Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne at Joëlle and Christian's beautiful home. The gîte is at the back of their house with a private courtyard. It is very peaceful and the facilities are excellent - we had everything we needed and more. The hosts are very warm and kind, happy to share produce from their lovely garden. They also made helpful recommendations for things to do in the area, including a most memorable "ban des vendanges" (party to launch the grape harvest in the local vineyards). All in all, a wonderful stay and great memories!). Merci Joëlle et Christian pour votre accueil chaleureux!

Summary: We had a lovely holiday in this appartment which was just as described, clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The terrace and garden are absolutely lovely. Christian and Joelle were kind and helpful hosts. They made us very welcome and, even though they had to deal with a family bereavement during the course of our stay, they looked after us very well. We explored Avignon, L'Isle sur la Sorgue and many of the beautiful hill top villages near by and we came home with lovely memories of a very beautiful part of France. Our thanks and kind regards to Christian and Joelle.

Summary: The owners, Christian and Joelle, made us very welcome. Although our French is very limited and they spoke no English, Christian went out of his way to make sure we understood him, and he was very helpful with suggested places to visit, weather forecasts, and the like. The apartment is in a small village, close to Avignon and a number of other attractions. Parking is off street and secure though a little tricky to come and go from. The price is very reasonable for such an apartment. It is comfortable, quiet, well equipped and matches the description in the listing. We were there in November and had some rainy days, but the apartment was nice to come home to. We also had two very good meals in a nearby restaurant, L"Atrium, where the owners do speak English and were very helpful with a problem we were having. Altogether, we enjoyed our stay in Chateauneuf de Gadagne and would recommend this rental.

Summary: We spent a fortnight in this beautiful cottage. Christian and Joëlle (who live in the house above) gave us a welcome as warm as you can possibly imagine. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel part of the family the whole time we were there. Christian and Jöelle were particularly wonderful with our 11 month old son, who adored them as much as they adored him. It was very difficult to say goodbye. The apartment itself is very safe, very comfortable and very well equipped - and exactly as shown in the photographs. It is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday for a small family, a couple or even a solo traveller. The cottage is located at the top of a beautiful, quiet, old Provençal village - and perfectly positioned between buzzing Avignon and charming Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. I hope we can return to see Christian and Joëlle before too long.
