Positive: Spacious cottage, very remote but peaceful and lovely views. Comfortable beds, great enclosed garden (although weather wasn’t good so didn’t have chance to use). Had plenty of cups, crockery and dishwasher. Would happily return

Negative: Remote location - no hairdryer so bought one as three ladies so was a must for us. No bin in bathroom, not major but would have been handy.

Summary: Nice relaxing break - just more remote than we realised but would recommend

Positive: Absolutely amazing cottage! We’ve been staying there during festive time while exploring Scotland. The location is just what we needed - close to outside world (shops and towns), but at the same time in the middle of nowhere, very peaceful area with fresh and clean air. The view from the backyard in the morning is staying with me forever. We felt like at home, you have everything you need there with all modern equipment and a fireplace for extra coziness. Quick speed WiFi, new pans and cutlery, oven trays, bowls, basically all you would need as if you were at your own home. We didn’t expect the property to be decorated for the festive time and a Christmas tree was an extra pleasant surprise. The hosts are amazing - they enquired at what time to expect us so they could boost the heating to get the house warmer for our arrival; the hosts were very welcoming and friendly and communication via texts was rapid. This is the cottage where you are so keen to get back after exploring Scotland at low temperatures weather, our stay there was fantastic. Highly recommended with biggest praises for the cottage and hosts! Thank you so much for our incredibly cosy stay in gorgeous Scotland!

Negative: You have to be insane to dislike something about this property because the place and cottage are amazing!!!

Positive: Loved the location, in fact everything about the property: the well equipped kitchen, the rapid heating of the rooms by the central heating, the comfy bedrooms, and the lovely showers. The best property we have ever stayed in. Perfect for our walking trip on the st. Cuthberts way. The owners were particularly kind to us wrt changing the dates of our stay when we were injured last year.
