Summary: I had a few questions for Vlad before our arrival and he was quick to answer and helpful. Getting to the entrance of the house is a little bit tricky but he gave clear directions and we figured it out no problem. You do need to go down two flights of stairs, so that's something to be aware of if stairs are hard for you. The home was nice and clean and looked exactly as depicted in pictures! The view is just gorgeous out the back porch, and we enjoyed having coffee outside in the mornings. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet and really close to anything that you want to do. San Rafael is such a beautiful and peaceful place, I have never visited it before but I loved it. I highly recommend going to Sol Food nearby, the Puerto Rican food there is delicious. The beds were comfy, found bath linens in the master closet, and there was plenty of bedding for our stay. Also plenty of dishes etc in the kitchen. We heated up a few meals in the oven, and everything worked great for us (coffee pot, fridge etc) Thanks for the great stay, my girlfriends had a lovely time as well and we hope to stay here again for another girl weekend!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this place. It was very clean and suited the needs of my wife, myself and our adult son. We loved sitting on the spacious deck and looking out over the valley and the- hill beyond us. We do want people to know that you have to walk down two sets of steps to get to the rental, and that might be difficult for people with step difficulties. Also, street parking fills up by 9 pm.

Summary: I stayed at this location with my two sons and my stepfather while visiting family in the area. It was a good location and the neighborhood seems lovely. The rental needs work. There are cobwebs on light fixtures and in the shower. There were insufficient linens. The TV is old, very pixelated with blown out speakers, and is on the floor. The coffee pot provided was a 4-cup version, where a full size 12-cup might be a nice and inexpensive improvement. While some rentals include basic kitchen items like salt and pepper, extra trash bags, and dishwasher soap, this location included absolutely nothing. We battled ants in the kitchen the entire visit. Thousands of them. There doesn't seem to be an option for me to add photos or videos, but it was swarms. And, after a long day of sightseeing, we decided to stay in for movie night and bought frozen pizzas only to return and figure out the oven doesn't work. So that was a waste of money and was very frustrating. I notified the owner re: the ants and the oven and received a response on the morning we were checking out...so that didn't help. We made memories. I asked my youngest at the airport about his favorite parts of the trip and he cited "how terrible the rental was" as a top runner. It was kind of like camping indoors. I don't recommend this location, and to be honest, after seeing a prior review to that effect, I requested to cancel without avail. I would recommend an alternative location if possible.

Summary: My husband and I stayed at the Hillside views property for 4 nights. The location was great w/street parking only. The condo has potential but it really needed a deep cleaning to the whole place. It was so dusty and dirty that I was very uncomfortable the entire time. It was a new listing and as such there was no TV, no toiletries, no spices, no decent cooking pans, oven didn't work, no dining table & chairs, the 2nd bedroom has a full size mattress directly on the floor. The property owner was very nice and responsive to my texts but not efficient enough to have had everything ready for us prior to our stay. We paid for a cleaning service fee that was obviously not performed. I had to improvise cleaning the kitchen, bathroom & closet shelves, not what you want to do at all. It was not conducive to hosting a gathering because of all of its limitations. It was not a good experience for us. Maybe the next guess will get a better experience.
