Positive: This home was perfect. I was staying with my friends and their children. One bedroom is downstairs (which was mine), and I felt like the setup afforded peace and privacy from the upstairs. The kitchen has everything you need, and the furnishings were comfortable; it felt like you were home. It is on a quiet street 10 to 15 minutes from the center of Bar Harbor, and I loved the serenity. I would recommend this place.

Negative: Everything was fine.

Positive: There was plenty of space for our family and the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with oils and spices. The location was convenient for visiting Acadia without having to navigate the craziness of Bar Harbor.

Negative: The water pressure wasn't great.

Positive: The house was well-thought out, well- furnished, comfortable, and situated nicely on a beautiful property that is within easy walking distance of Blue Horizons Preserve and a considerable amount of accessible ocean shoreline/beach. The owner also lives on the property, and invited us to take veggies from her garden. She readily answered any questions we had.

Negative: I wish the instructions concerning the door entry code had contained the finishing #, but the agency answered the phone promptly when we called for help.

Summary: This comfortable home provided us with a wonderful base from which to enjoy all of Acadia.
