Summary: Sia (Tracy), is very nice and helpful. The house is a little over a mile (1.9 km) from the train station. It is an easy walk, no hills, through downtown St. Marys. You can take a bus (no. 771) to/from the train station. The stop is 1 block from the house, but the bus only runs once an hour. There are 2 grocery stores less than a 10 minute walk away (Aldi and Woolworths). They are conveniently on the way to/from the train station. The house is located on the edge of town. North, south and west are fields, pastures and forest. Wild lemon trees grow within 50 yards/meters of the front door; handy for tea. East is a quiet neighborhood. The Great Western Highway is conveniently only a few blocks away. The house was clean, but the shower floor was very slippery/slimy, needs a good scrub and a mat.

Summary: It would be excellent if we had a car. It is a little over a mile (1.9 km) to the train station, but it is a flat, easy walk. It is really in the country, right on the edge of town, with wild lemon trees growing close by. Sia (Tracy), was really nice and easy to work with. She brought us goodies to eat for our stay. There is a washer, but no dryer. There is plenty of clothes line space and things dried quickly in the sun and breeze. We enjoyed our stay.
