Positive: The lodge & location are stunning, fabulous views, so peaceful & lovely. It’s such a fantastic location and could be an amazing property, it just needs some proper care.

Negative: However, the interior of the lodge could do with some TLC & deep cleaning. Both bathrooms were grubby & the skirting boards in the main bathroom need painted. No bathmats or towels to stand on were provided. There was a dirty cloth in the utility room when we arrived, the door handle from the utility to the hall is broken & the oven needs a deep clean. The kitchen tap was badly broken in 2 places & sprayed water everywhere, and there’s a section of the island worktop chipped off. There are only 4 big plates, 4 small plates (one was chipped), 4 bowls & 4 mugs so constant washing up was needed. No dishwasher tablets or cloths to wipe surfaces were provided. The rug in the living room was grubby & the mat going out to the hot tub needs replaced. The hot tub vents need a good scrub. The double doors out to the patio don’t lock properly. There’s a lovely dressing table in the main bedroom but no mirror. A very bright light on a shed outside remained on the while night which shined in through the thin bedroom curtains.

Summary: It’s such a fantastic location and could be an amazing property, it just needs some proper care.

Positive: Beautiful location with lovely views. Nice spacious apartment

Negative: Just a couple of slight improvements that would make a big difference - curtains or black-out blinds in bedrooms would allow more sleep! Amazing as the sunrise was I couldn't sleep once it was up and in the summer this would be much harder. The key to access the front door was a bit temperamental too but we finally got the hang of it.

Negative: there was a lot of ants and there was some lizards as well in the apartment

Positive: Lovely lodge in a stunning location. Everything is brand new inside and the hot tub was great. Cant wait to come back again , owners were so helpful.

Negative: Only downside would be the lack of plates / glasses. Take your own cooking utensils etc if you will be making lots of meals in the lodge.
