A gate on-site gives access to the magnificent Sewerby Hall and Gardens. With many attractions and in-season entertainment, for both adults and children. One family pass to Sewerby Park is included for guests at this property (for four people) and children will love the adventure playground and zoo.

Summary: Stayed a few days for our wedding anniversary and were greeted by a tub of Celebrations which was lovely. The Gatehouse is surprisingly spacious, and very well equipped. The site is so peaceful and friendly and Bridlington is close. The path to the cliffs is great for dog owners with walks in both directions. The whole atmosphere on the site is dog friendly. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend staying here.

Summary: Overall a very pleasant stay. Owners very nice. Some lovely walks close at hand. Lucky enough to see deer in nearby woods on a couple of occasions and grey seals at Flamborough Head. Danes Dyke beach is also worth a visit. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Summary: Lovely clean comfortable lodge, has everything you could need. Dog friendly. Good location for Sewerby Hall, cliff top walks etc. Nice quiet site, very relaxing.

Summary: A good place to stay but a few issues as not owning a dog, we could tell that one had been in the lodge as it did smell of wet dog, which seemed to encourage flies as we killed about a dozen one day. The sofa's although nice weren't very comfortable for me as having arthritis needed something with a higher back. Other than this we had a lovely week and enjoyed our stay.

Summary: What a gem. Perfect location, peace and total tranquillity. South facing balcony gives you brilliant sun until late evening. Turn off the phones, cancel the wifi and kick off your shoes, you'll love it.

Summary: Lovely and clean, one of the best sited lodges with spacious enclosed decking area so the little dog was able to relax outside also. The use of the free passes into Sewerby Hall a bonus, the grounds are a pleasure for all ages. For dining out The Ship (easy to walk to), Seabirds in Flamborough (need to book) and for fish and chips we chose North Bay (fabulous) in Bridlington where we walked to and got the little train back. One of the many highlights of the lodge was to be able to watch a red deer feeding in the evening sunshine from the outside decking. So yes The Gatehouse is perfect for a holiday and the Yorkshire Coast is perfect too.

Summary: We had an enjoyable stay (despite the weather) at The Gatehouse, very comfortable beds, always plenty of hot water. The free passes into Sewerby house and gardens, very much appreciated. Owners always available, should they be required. Would stay again.
