Positive: Great location and as expected from photos. Appreciated the quality bedlinen and towels.

Negative: No welcome goodies and no shower /bath gel. Every holiday cottage I've stayed in have provided them and I think they reflect the owners attention to a guest's comfort.

Summary: A short, restful stay in a lovely location close to the sea. Let down by the lack of welcome goodies

Positive: The garden had three seating areas. This was not mentioned at all in the information on the accommodation. Also there is a parking space with the accommodation albeit at the end of the row of cottages but still a bonus. Again this was not on any of the information.

Negative: That the oven tray was in the dishwasher and it needed cleaning a lot. Presumably the previous occupants had used it to b a q or cook meat and the cleaner had no time to sort it out and had put it in the dishwasher in the hopes that it would come clean - no. We cleaned it as best we could.

Summary: Excellent location with super views of Dunstanborough Castle from the converted attic room
