Positive: Beautiful property, well laid out and worked perfectly for our family of three with our dog whilst I was working at Blenheim Palace. Excellent location, next to the bus stop which takes 30 mins into Oxford City Centre. It’s just offset from a busy road (Especially during a car show weekend!) but the bedrooms are at the back so that was not an issue at all. Would recommend and stay again!

Negative: One of the front door window panes was smashed which alarmed us to begin with as we’ve been subject to a break in before but after looking at it properly it looks like damage from a door being slammed, not a break in as it was only one layer of the double glazing so didn’t affect security. The property was accessed via the back gate during the day by what we presumed was house keeping but they didn’t lock the back gate after they left so our dog escaped through, luckily he’s not that fast.

Positive: We had a lovely family mini break. Location was perfect for exploring the Cotswolds and Oxford. The apartment was very comfortable and catered for everything we needed, including our dog! The beds were very comfy and we liked having the outdoor space for the dog. The hosts were very responsive to questions / queries and would definitely visit here again.

Negative: The wooden floors in the flats were quite creaky which in itself isn’t a problem but it was more noticeable when people were in the flat above. We stayed over a bank holiday weekend and understand that people are relaxing and enjoying the long weekend, however it was quite disturbing to us in the ground floor flat. The noise levels when people were playing music, running about upstairs/talking/shouting and in the garden was extremely magnified. Maybe some carpet / sound proofing to the flat above would help.

Positive: Very conveniently situated with a bus to Oxford on the doorstep. Nicely decorated and very clean. Private parking right outside. Very good value for money. Would definitely stay again.
