In the historical neighborhood of North Park, our 1920s Casita is close to EVERYTHING. Just minutes to beaches, Balboa Park, Petco Park, SDSU Cox Arena, downtown and the Gaslamp District, Coronado, Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, La Jolla, the Convention Center and Comic-Con. A wide array of unique restaurants, breweries and shops are just a few short blocks away. Perfect for an evening stroll.
We have a fully-stocked and updated kitchen, washer and dryer, window air conditioners in the bedroom and living room and a mini-split system in the kitchen (central air is not possible in our 100-year old home), free WiFi, two TVS with DirecTV, NFL network AND the NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTubeTV, including a TV on our outdoor patio.
Enjoy a glass of wine under the stars while you BBQ on our propane grill and watch your favorite show. An electric fireplace in the living room adds that special ambience on cold, winter nights. (As in mid-50s, usually. It is San Diego, after all.)
We welcome housebroken and friendly dogs. And little kids, too. Although we have a limit of two each. There is no separate bed for the kids, but the couch is large and offers plenty of space for two mid-to-small sized kids. *Linens provided for couch sleepers.*
Avid environmentalists, we hope you will join us in doing our part to save this world for the next generations. We recycle and watch our water and electricity consumption. It would be much appreciated, but not required, if you would help us out with these efforts.
Sorry, but we don't allow parties or loud noises and music after 9 p.m. This is our home and these are our neighbors and we want to be respectful of them. We really hope you enjoy staying in our home and that you love it as much as we do. It is a pleasure and a privilege to share our home with you.

Summary: My husband and I came to San Diego for our Nephew's college graduation and were looking for a place that would allow us to bring our pup along as well. This little house was perfect! There is a private fenced yard with a little patch of grass for Charlie to enjoy. The house was located in our old neighborhood of North Park, so we had so much fun going to all of our favorite spots around town. Just a perfect weekend away! I don't think you will find nicer hosts either - I would 100% recommend this place!

Summary: Everything about our stay was great. The house was comfortable and the location was perfect. Elicia went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and had a lot of good tourist information available at the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: The Casita was a perfect location for us to celebrate our 42nd anniversary in San Diego. Elicia and Amy provided everything we could have asked. The property is located in a convenient part of the city, close to Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Gaslamp District, Little Italy, etc. It also provided a quiet neighborhood retreat after an active day. We would certainly stay there again and highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone staying in San Diego!

Summary: My partner, senior pups, and I stayed at the casita over new year's and loved every moment of it. Elicia was very accommodating, giving extra attention and detail to our senior pups needs, as well. The living area was nice and open, with plenty of comfortable seating for family gatherings or to snuggle up and watch TV. The kitchen was perfect for anyone who loves to cook: well-stocked and well-equipped. I don't think there was a single thing missing from the kitchen that I wouldn't have at home, which made it really easy to prepare and host family meals. We were really touched by their thoughtfulness in making sure our old dogs were comfortable by leaving them a crate chockful of doggy supplies and goodies. Having an easily accessible, small, grassy dog run was perfect for them, too. Additionally, they lent us a doggie stroller, in case our older pups who don't see or get around as well as they used to, could cruise around the neighborhood with ease. Overall, our experience staying here was nothing short of perfect. I would book this place again in a heartbeat!

Summary: Very Vintage and Charming Casita. A short walk to University Ave and tons of restaurants, shops, and service vendors! This is one of the most well-appointed VRBOs I have ever stayed in. Every possible spice and kitchen appliance and all of it newer! Very comfortable, clean, and quiet!

Summary: This is the perfect San Diego getaway for a couple and their dog. A lovely, well maintained and clean home that is pet friendly, comfortable and has great location. We love this neighborhood as it is walkable with several great coffee shops and restaurants. The hosts, Amy & Elicia, are very friendly and made everything so easy. They really have thought of everything! Can't wait to get back.
