Old world charm welcomes you inside and out! This Victorian near vibrant downtown Westminister has large rooms with high ceilings and original woodwork on three separate porches, stairs case and around to vintage windows. The fully stocked kitchen has a breakfast bar and boasts a back staircase to the upstairs. Short 5-minute stroll to fabulous restaurants downtown: Rock Salt, Lost Lion, and Johansons. Within 2 miles are Maggie’s and The Stables are additoinal places to grab a bit to eat or see live music or sing karaoke. Take a drive to Baltimore (36m), Gettysburg (23m), or Frederick (29 miles away) to enjoy all they have to offer (see links below). Or order take out and sit and people watch from the one of the three porches. You'll see everything from church goers on Sunday morning to college kids and the many dog walkers. Two community parks boasting Tennis and Pickleball courts and our granddaughter's favorite zip-line are just a few blocks away. Do you like to ski? Liberty Mountain is a 45 min drive and White Tail is about 1 ½ hours close. Afterward a day of skiing come sit in the back yard by the fire pit. The King and Queen bedrooms have white noise machines to help provide a good night's rest as you will hear the road and the church bell chimes (reminds me of our grandfather clock) The 4th bedroom is non-conforming as it has the walk through to the full bath also accessed from the upper porch. The original 1860’s floors have character and ‘talk to you’ as you move about!

Summary: This house was cute and quite charming. I enjoyed the authentic layout and features of the home with modern touches to ease the stay. You felt the charm of the 1800s with plenty of plugs and charging outlets for phones and devices. The towels and bedding were high quality and the window unit A/C in each room cooled us down from the summer heat easily. The town was quiet but it was a beautiful drive to tourist spots like Lancaster and Bird in Hand, PA. We would recommend this home.

Summary: My husband and I moved to Myrtle Beach a year ago. We make arrangements about every 6 weeks to get our children and grandchildren together. This trip was to celebrate the arrival of our first granddaughter. This property was close to my daughter’s home in Manchester Md. We enjoyed the restaurants near by and spent quality time together in this beautiful historical treasure. Very pleased with our experience here.

Summary: Enjoyed our stay, all was perfect, walkable to restaurants and house had everything you would need. Look forward to going back for a longer visit. Summary: Our family (4 adults and two young children) stayed at the Westy House while in town visiting extended family for Easter. The home is beautiful and has absolutely everything you need. The location is right in down town, and is in easy walking distance to an awesome antique shop, and several great restaurants. The hosts were also very communicative. Thank you!

Summary: House was great. Has a kitchen with everything you need. Walking distance to many things including an Irish Pub with delicious food and a warm fireplace. House even had a bed for our dog.

Summary: This property has everything you need - from appliances to furniture to decor - and it was in great condition. It was even beautifully decorated for Christmas. We’ve stayed in many other properties where fixtures were in need of repair or the “non-stick” pans were unusable, but there was not a single thing wrong. Even the bidets (!) looked to be brand new. It’s an easy walk to several of our favorite restaurants. Communication was excellent and we even received two welcome/orientation videos ahead of our arrival. We’ve stayed at two other local properties but this was by far our favorite. And what else can I say other than we will come back?
