Positive: Well furnished. Lots of storage. Lovely well equipped kitchen. Perfect location for our family stay and nearby funeral. Heating easy to control.

Negative: Very steep stairs. Not sure they are even legal. Was very worried about slipping on them as tread depth very narrow. House perfect for 4 but would rather not have used the dormer room. It was windy and upstairs was very noisy with something (slates? ) rattling. Was also chilly upstairs, radiator didn’t get hot, maybe needs bleeding?

Summary: Great little house. Loved our stay, although brief and would return.

Positive: The Home was very well equipped and very homely. lots of space for 6 adults to mingle around. The beds were very comfortable and the linens very good quality, going to bed was a dream after a long day out and about. Lots of thoughtful details that make the perfect home from home. ample parking and pretty back garden. A excellent location easy to find. We had bought a trailer with us for luggage and they were really thoughtful about accommodating our sailing times. We would stay again and we have recommended to other friends.

Negative: If I was being picky, I, think it may have been empty for a while there was a faint damp smell and LOTS of spiders. The stairs to the dorma bedroom were very steep and had to reconfigure who slept where as a result. We hadn't grasped the angle via the description or photos.

Positive: The location was excellent for us and our pet. The home had all the facilities we needed and everything was clean and tidy. Amenities were very good thank you. Very good parking outside the door.

Negative: Would recommend that a radio is included in the kitchen. A small waste bin placed upstairs. There was a smell as you opened the front door that was initially off-putting. Would recommend that a warning concerning the steep staircase and small treads to go to the upstairs bedroom as that room would not be suitable for everyone.

Summary: Very conveniently located and equipped for our stay.
