The "Caroline House Nashville" Historic Inn SCREAMS southern hospitality! This high-end, charming 1921 Boutique Inn was recently & meticulously restored, then featured in the local Tennessean and CBS affiliate news. The Inn is immaculately maintained and industry-rated as a 4-star boutique hotel. Located smack in the heart of Nashville, in the city's hottest walk-able urban neighborhood: 12South Neighborhood, & within 2 mi from Vandy, Belmont University, Downtown/Lower Broadway, & Music Row.
Groups tell us that they gravitate to our property when seeking a perfect space for a special celebratory memorable occasion. With the gathering spaces inside and out, you will have lots of opportunities for quality time spent together. Our property has been professional designed and decorated, with the perfect marriage of vintage features with modern comforts.
Our property has been enjoyed by famous recording artists as well as the not-yet-famous. :) What all our guests have in common is enjoying the luxury suites with private baths, spa robes, the same Egyptian cotton towels found in 5-star hotels, the finest Italian sheets by Frette, and the same luxury mattress you will find in the very best hotels. We want you to sleep like a rockstar and enjoy the amenities on par with finest hotels, but not at the five-star price!
Our Inn caters to the most discerning of guest, and folks tell us they "want for nothing" during their stay. We work hard to fully stock the property with basic household essentials, but if something is missing you have a Publix grocery located right on our street. We also feature lots of special touches such as locally-made Thistle Farms body washes made from the finest essential oils. We can't wait to spoil you!
Guests will have access to all the main living areas of the home including the family room, kitchen, comfy front porch and back covered patio with cushy outdoor furniture and a wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen is smack out of a Williams-Sonoma catalog with high-end appliances and the best cookware and servingware available for your use. We provide a smart lock code for use in accessing the property so you can come and go as you like! If arriving home late at night after some classic Nashville fun, the home is well lit with lighting all around the property so that you feel safe upon arrival.
Sleeping situation: There are (4) traditional bedrooms, each with a Queen bed & private ensuite bath, plus our "Old Coal Room Studio" includes (2) Queen beds and an ensuite bath, for a grand total of (6) Queen beds and (5) private baths, plus a powder room on the main level. Our permit allows a max of (12) guests and we strictly adhere to this limit.
There is plenty of street parking directly in front of the property, as well as on our private gated drive accessed with a code. If we are in town, we greet you upon your arrival to help you get settled and will assist you with dinner reservations or other plans to help ensure you enjoy your stay!
Note that we are an URBAN NEIGHBORHOOD which is SMACK in the middle of the CITY! Locals and visitors alike love 12South where one can walk to a plethora of restaurants, coffee shops, live music venues, and boutique shopping! We can't wait to share our neighborhood with you!
Since we are in the center of the city, transportation is a breeze! There is a bus system that picks up 2 blocks away, or a short Uber or Lyft ride will get you about anywhere in the downtown and midtown Nashville area. There are choices of restaurants and coffee shops within a few blocks to up to a 1/2 a mile walk. 1/2 a mile away there are also bicycles available to ride around the city and check in at any other sister bike station in the city. Many love to pick up a bike in our neighborhood, 12South, and ride the bikes into downtown 1.5-2 miles away, and check in the bikes there.
Note that we have been inspected by the Fire Marshall, are fully insured, and in compliance with Metro Nashville codes.

Summary: After months of staying home, the Caroline House was the perfect location for our family reunion. There were numerous amenities and plenty of space for guests. Ashley made the checkin and checkout very helpful. This is an excellent location for family fun and easy access to downtown area.

Summary: We had a group of 11 guys stay in the house over the past 4+ days last week. We rented the entire house. I'm not sure where to even begin. This was by far the best and smoothest run VRBO rental I've ever rented. We absolutely loved the place and had a wonderful experience from initial booking until departure. Ashley (the proprietor) made herself available for anything we needed but in all reality I don't think I called/texted her once during our stay as every little detail was covered from the get go. The biggest pros from our group was space and the location. We never once felt cramped at all. The main living area is large with a big dining table and counter space along with very comfortable couches. The backyard area was very nice with outdoor couches and chairs. We cooked two nice meals at the house and never found ourselves looking for a pot/pan/utensil or seasoning as this house has it all. The location was perfect for us. We never had more than a 10 minute Uber ride for everything we did while in Nashville. It was a 5 minute walk to both the very nice Publix grocery store and the incredible Hattie B's Hot Chicken. We frequented both places multiple times. Overall, every guy on the trip stated how happy and impressed they were with the house. We would absolutely stay at this house again if we ever find ourselves back in Nashville!

Summary: Huge historic house with all the basics. Adorable house dog. Very quiet and cozy. Lots of great restaurants and shops nearby within walking distance. Hosts got back to us quickly and supplied items, as needed. Would recommend scheduling a cleaning during stay if staying more than 4 days.

Summary: We had an amazing week in Nashville with our entire family, largely because of this property. The house and its owners are welcoming and warm and its size was perfect for us all to spread out--but yet gather on the amazing back patio (fireplace), play pool/darts in the basement and cook a huge Thanksgiving dinner. I can't recommend this place more highly.

Summary: Our stay at the Caroline House for our daughter's wedding could not have been better! We booked the"run of the house" for family, some of the bridal party, and the bride. Our hosts took such great care of us : ensuring we had plenty of extra towels and linens, clearing leaves in the gorgeous outdoor spaces for wedding photos, and even offering to run any morning-of errands. The house is spotless and filled with beautiful and inviting furnishings. The kitchen is well-stocked, and plenty of firewood is provided for the outdoor fireplace, which we fully enjoyed on several crisp fall evenings. The Caroline House was perfect for our family's special event. We look forward to returning and for a B&B stay on our next visit to Nashville. Thank you, Ashley and Michael( and Desti the house dog!)for an unforgettable weekend!
