Positive: 12 The Gardens and the estate it is on is a lovely place to stay, whether in the depths of winter (as we did over Christmas 2025 for which thanks again to the owners) or at another time of year.

Negative: The oven did not work (but was thankfully fixed on the day we reported this) and some of the rooms need a little decoration.

Positive: Lovely welcome hamper, really comfortable bedrooms & en-suite's. Well equipped kitchen - fresh cafetierre coffee every morning :-) Meet all our expectations & we had a wonderful few days.

Negative: If there is a down side it is that you have to drive to get anywhere, but it was quiet and luxurious.

Summary: Wonderfully confortable and well equipped - great base for the Jurassic coast & surrounds.

Positive: We loved the fact there were 2 ensuits & a separate bathroom. Place was well equipped, comfortable, spacious & warm. Perfect for 2 couples but also great family accommodation. Price was great too.

Positive: stunning remote location with ample parking and a short drive to Lyme Regis. We arrived in fog and it was super creepy coming onto the estate which made it even more impressive. Beds were super comfortable and there’s plenty of games to play when it’s rainy

Negative: The biggest oven tray doesn’t actually fit in the oven - we made a fresh pizza with raw dough in that pan and it was such a mess trying to transfer it to another tray which was pretty frustrating. The check out time was also a bit earlier than would have suited us
