Positive: Nice neighborhood, nice neighbors, LOVED the outdoor furniture under the gazebo, house was nicely furnished and decorated, kitchen was nicely equipped, owner was very responsive.

Negative: I’m not quite sure why the cleaning fee was so high (plus we paid extra for the 6 pound Maltese we brought), as there was dog hair on the furniture (bed, couches and especially the outdoor furniture cushions). And we went to use the outdoor grill and it was dirty. Not a huge deal, just disappointing when you pay so much for a cleaning fee, plus extra for a pet fee. When I originally booked the reservation there was no place to add the pet to see what the pet fee would be. So I made a note on the reservation that we were bringing a 6 lb. Maltese. I received a message from Evolve stating that I could reply to their message and they would charge the pet fee. I said great, please do so. I never heard back, didn’t see a charge to my credit card. So a day or two before we were going I messaged again and then they told me that they couldn’t do it, that I needed to go through Booking.com to do it and they gave me a phone number to call. With all the scams you always hear about I didn’t feel comfortable doing that, however I didn’t want to have any issues when we arrived either. So I looked up a phone number for Booking.com and called. I was on hold for a while to speak with someone, and after all the time wasted on that they ended up telling me they have no way to add the pet and charge the pet fee and told me I had to go to Evolve. So maddening to waste all this time and get the runaround! So I contacted Evolve yet again, they again told me they couldn’t and that I had to go through Booking.com to do it. So I had to explain that I keep getting the runaround, someone needs to do something so we don’t have an issue when we check in. Evolve later called me, which I was not available when they called, so they left me a voicemail to call them. A few hours later I went to call them and they were calling me again! So I spoke with the person and explained the whole situation and they ended up telling me they usually don’t take the pet fee however they will.
