Summary: We took our church youth group to visit the Ark Encounter, and wanted to stay nearby for a few nights and make a retreat out of it. The retreat was beautiful, clean, and very well stocked! The hosts were so kind and easy to communicate with. Everyone in attendance seemed very comfortable and pleased with the stay. We were so sad we had to leave early due to an incoming ice storm, but the hosts were great in communication and accomadation. We would definitely recommend! .

Summary: I recently stayed at this location - using all four houses - while bringing a large group to visit the Ark Encounter. Having the ability to house up to 36 individuals while being able to spread out into separate spaces was ideal. This listing is perfect for church/school groups but would also work well for large family reunions. I can't say enough about the helpfulness of the host. From making sure we got settled in to going out of the way to meet some needs during our stay, we were made to feel that welcome and that the host wanted our stay to be enjoyable. The homes themselves were clean and well-furnished. Having multiple living spaces with entertainment options allowed our group to spread out. And the combination of king/queen beds to go with bunks/trundles allowed for flexibility. Finally, the setting is beautiful. Our group couldn't stop commenting on the surrounding scenery and wildlife. It's a beautiful location to step out and soak in. I will be looking for this listing again when visiting the area with no hesitation!
