We are 15 minutes to Sulphur Springs, 20 to Quitman, and 30 to Emory, located right in the heart of Lake Fork. The house is located in a picturesque country setting on 60+ acres…there are bugs, dirt, snakes and things that could cause injury, including ponds, farm animals and equipment…welcome to the ranch!

Summary: I was in Texas for the eclipse and stayed here a week. I found the house comfortable and particularly loved the bed and the sheets. It is a rural setting complete with rooster(s) crowing in the morning and lots of open land. It is set back about 200 years from a highway, so there is a little road noise, but not very much. Hosts were very friendly and considerate, including bringing me a dinner plate with steak on the night of the eclipse.
