As owners we proudly manage all 4 of our properties ourselves, and do our very best to give you much more than you expect at a price that is very affordable. We also have a brand new sleeper sofa with airdream mattress that will make you reconsider sleeper sofas, it is to die for.
Heron's Nest is part of a very private 4 unit townhome site nestled into the trees on 1st Street w. We are the right half of the green townhome pictured, unit 205-b (kind of like a duplex) Location doesn't get any better, with the boat ramp, sunset point, and restaurants within walking distance. Walk over to Roy's waterfront restaurant and enjoy the sunset while having a nice dinner or check out the live music at Crabby Dads for a more lively atmosphere, and don't forget waterfront Hungry Howies for some Awesome pizza! No condo party noise to contend with at the townhome, just the birds and the breeze. The townhome has brand new furnishings accented with awesome artwork that are some of Steinhatchee's trademarks. Bedrooms are furnished with exquisite linens for a resort-like experience while on vacation. With 600 thread count linens and lush comforters, the hardest thing about vacation might be getting out of bed in the morning. This is not your ordinary Steinhatchee rental, and this rental is not intended for the party crowd. If you want a peaceful retreat that is super convenient to the some of the best fishing and scalloping in the state, then you have found it at Heron's Nest. Summary: We stayed to go fishing for our anniversary. The house is close to the marina, and restaurants, We were a little worried about any residuals from Helene and believe me looking around Steinhatchee there is plenty but when in the house you would never know. When we arrived there were flowers a bottle of Champagne and chocolates for our anniversary the kitchen is fully stocked including some snacks. Did you forget your toothbrush? No problem they thought of everything. The bathrooms are stocked with most necessities. We have used VRBO many times for different cities but this one stood out above the rest. The thoughtfulness of the hosts made the difference

Summary: This place is very nice, the owner spared no expense on decor or extras. We have stayed at a lot of rentals but never has anyone been so thoughtful with the extra amenities, if you had forgotten something it was probably in the bathroom. Very clean and well maintained.

Summary: Usually when places say that they have a fully stocked kitchen, there aren’t enough dishes/pans to make the meal. We didn’t cook but there were snacks and coffee pods, spices, shampoo and toiletries in case anyone forgot theirs. That was a nice touch! Thank you!! We rented a boat slip at seahag and it worked out perfectlly!
