Located at the foot of Lake McDonald, looking directly into the heart of Park, within easy walking distance to Apgar Village. This cabin is conveniently located to provide year-round access to all of the amazing activities the Park has to offer. This modern cabin has all the amenities; a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living area with wood burning stove, (firewood is not provided), and large deck with BBQ, picnic table and reclining and Adirondack deck chairs, all with views you'll never forget. Plenty of room for six people with two bedrooms downstairs and a large loft. Downstairs you'll find a bedroom with a king bed, a bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom.

Summary: Well appointed and clean cabin. Immediate hot water. The location is amazing, right on Lake Macdonald shore with spectacular lake/mountain views. Rent this place for the views and to maximize your hiking time in the park. You are already in the park so you wake up and hit the road to your hike immediately. Stay out late and come back to a great cabin as it gets dark. We had no issues with the cabin although the coffee maker is on its last leg and it took 45-60 minutes to brew a pot a coffee in the morning.

Summary: Stayed three nights with family (wife, son, daughter, & son-in-law). Checkin super easy. Great communication. Rustic, but very comfortable with everything you need. The view and location at the end of Lake McDonald is astounding. Condition of house and property are superb. Spend your days and nights on the deck listening to the lake and birds. No better way to enjoy the gem of national parks.

Summary: The location of this house is perfect! We loved it so much I had a hard time getting my kids to leave each day. We ate meals, played games and enjoyed gorgeous sunrises and sunsets from the deck. After a long day of hiking we played in the lake and it was only a quick 5 minute walk along the lake shore to ice cream, shopping, and groceries. We can’t wait to return to this little piece of paradise!

Summary: As expected, the views from the cabin cannot be beat! It was such a treat to watch the changing colors and sky as the day and evening progressed. It was wonderful to come back after a long day of hiking and exploring and still have something beautiful to look see out our window. The cabin itself was perfect for our family of four. It had everything that we needed and the WiFi worked well. The stairs to the loft took a little getting used to, but our children slept up there and they are as nimble as Glacier park mountain goats so had no complaints! Additionally, it was convenient to be within walking distance of Apgar village, especially with the crowds and limited parking there. Bottom line - we would highly recommend this cabin. During our stay we remarked numerous times that we felt lucky to be there!

Summary: We really enjoyed our visit here. The view of the lake when we first arrived and our kids excitement upon seeing it is a memory I will always cherish. For large families the single bathroom is a pain point but worth it.
