my name is Maryse and I am 64 years old. My husband is called Georges and is 58 years old. We are both actors.
We are delighted to welcome you soon. Warm by nature, we are always happy to meet people and meet new people.
Arrivals are from 3 p.m. and departures are before noon.
I hope you will have a good time in our beautiful department of Pyrénées-Orientales.
Our exact address (for GPS): 17 rue de la couloumine 66680 Canohès. (this is also the address of our little theater).
It’s right next to Perpignan. Besides, if you come during school holidays (from our area), your children from 3 to 15 years old can do a theater internship with us. If you are interested, do not hesitate to ask us for all the information.
Here is what you will have:
- the entire accommodation of 40 m2. Nothing is shared in this house except the courtyard where cars are parked.
- swimming pool 4 m X 8 m and 2 m deep with large steps
- 1 bedroom with 140 cm bed (Bed linen provided) with electric heater with dry inertia.
- a living room with 1 sofa bed for 2 people (bed linen provided), table, chairs, buffet (plates, cutlery, glasses, cups, tea towels, all kitchen utensils), internet, flat screen TV, iron, table iron, dry inertia radiator, small portable air conditioner, vacuum cleaner
- integrated kitchen with fridge, microwave, oven, induction hob, electric coffee maker, kettle, kitchen utensils, pots and pans.
- a bathroom with shower, sink (towels provided), washing machine 9 kg, towel radiator.
- a separate toilet
- in the garden, under shelter, a table with garden armchairs
- near the swimming pool, deckchairs, a charcoal barbecue, a drying rack.
- for your car: enclosed parking space with electric gate which you will hear.
The place is a haven of peace because it is very quiet.
Right next to it, 50 m away, there is a small canal with a fitness trail that borders it. It is frequented by joggers, walkers and appreciated for bike rides. In the morning, you can meet squirrels, cuckoos, ducks ...

- in summer, all the beaches (Barcarès, Torreilles, Sainte Marie, Canet en Roussillon, Argelès sur Mer, Saint Cyprien, Collioure ...) are 20 minutes by car.
- you will be: 3 minutes by car from the “PERPIGNAN SUD” motorway exit; 8 mins by car from Perpignan city center; 8 mins by car from Perpignan train station; 20 minutes by car from Perpignan airport; 30 minutes by car from the Spanish border (low-cost races at Perthus and La Jonquera); 40 minutes by car from Girona airport (low-cost flights)

Summary: The house was clean, the people were friendly and we had everything we needed for a good vacation. Our oldest really liked the pool. It was very nice during the heatwave!

Summary: The property is fine in its own right. It is fairly basic and we had to buy hand towels, tea towels and cooking tools (slice, tongs, wooden spoons). However, the owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Unless you are very energetic, you do need a car to get anywhere. The bus service into Perpignan operates only during the day and our intended cycle excursions were very much curtailed by the heatwave. As we discovered, there are few restaurants and bars in the area although having an Intermarche Super next door was a bonus. One downside was the ongoing building works (to create another gite?) adjacent to the apartment, not because they disturbed us in any significant way but rather in that they made the idea of a day lounging beside the pool rather unappealing. Nevertheless the pool was used each day. As a final bonus though, the owners have a very friendly cat which came to visit us every morning and evening.

Summary: A lovely clean property with a great pool and sun decking area. All facilities that you need and a comfy bed. Well stocked supermarket close by. Not much else around in walking distance but all you need to relax and chill for a while is there. Easy bus route into town close by and a wealth of walks not too far either via Perpignan or even along the local canal. Had a really nice time and the hosts were extremely helpful before and during our stay.
