Standing detached in a very secluded location in the extensive grounds of the owner’s home, the cottage also enjoys a sunny sheltered terrace and shared tennis court. The area is ideal for fishing, golf, hill walkers and water sports enthusiasts. Easy access to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Perth, 40 minutes’ drive, offers an excellent range of shops, restaurants and bars, and a fine theatre, while St Fillans has a small shop and three good hotels with loch views, serving food (seasonal opening). Summary: Amaizing property placed in pictures village, surrounded by beautiful mountains. Property it self designed in to high standard. Everything what you need for comfortable stay is there. Very friendly and easy to communicate host.

Summary: We loved our stay at Plum Tree. A quiet get away in a beautiful part of the country, made better with a delightful little cottage nestled away. Not much in St Fillans itself, but you're never far from the surrounding villages and towns where there's more variety of things to see and do.

Summary: A fabulous little cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage is clean, cosy and comfortable, and well equipped. The bed is comfortable, and the location is very quiet. The views of the surrounding hills from the lounge and bathroom are stunning, and there are lots of local walks into those hills. The local cafe does a good breakfast, and St Fillans is perfectly located for exploring in all directions. Highly recommended!

Summary: The location of the cottage is quiet and very scenic. Easy walk to local cafe and shop with excellent view of Loch Earn. Cottage is cosy and warm, with all utensils you should need.

Summary: We spent a wonderful week at Plum Tree Cottage, which really does have a plum tree and which spoilt us with fruit. We were blessed with reasonable weather and were able to get out walking or biking or running every day. The walk along the railway path to Comrie is accessible to all but does go onto a lane towards the end with the occasional car. The slope to the Melville monument in Comrie is VERY steep but if you walk another mile (approx) there is another gateway and path which is much gentler. There is a small cafe and shop in the village but the pub is only open over the weekend. The cottage is very cosy and we were dying to light the wood burner but it really wasn't cold enough for that :(

Summary: Fell in love with this unique, characterful holiday cottage. The location was perfect for our stay and we so much enjoyed the cottage that it was hard to resist staying home all day, despite fantastic weather. Wonderful sitting / working space full of natural light and views of the fruit trees and greenhouses, and a sunny deck area. Bed was comfortable, kitchen had limited gear but sufficient for a 2 bed. Some of the surfaces could have been cleaner but the space itself was perfect. Would definitely come back at another time of year. It was sublime in summer but would love to see it spring or autumn.

Summary: Great cottage. Cosy. Lacked nothing there is a dishwasher, dryer, washing machine . I forgot tea bags but they were provided. No wifi But no problem for me. Secure area for my little dog and with lots of walks nearby we had a lovely holiday .
