Set in a rural location yet 4 miles from a beach, guests can experience both countryside and coast from this former granary with hot tub.. All on the Ground Floor:

Lovingly converted and set on a farm, furniture updated July 2021 this former granary offers spacious, detached accommodation for two people, just 4 miles from the coast and its sandy beaches which offer miles of unspoilt walks. Whether its a base from which to explore the east coast and the Lincolnshire Wolds, also nearby, or simply somewhere to sit and relax in front of the wood burner with a good book, The Old Granary is ideal. There are good walks and cycle routes from the door, with the coast approximately a 10-minute drive away. The traditional seaside resort of Skegness is 9 miles away, with plenty of entertainment for everyone including the Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve. During the winter months, visit the seal pups at Donna Nook. The market town of Alford is a 10-minute drive, whilst the Georgian market town of Louth, which still has 3 markets a week, is about half an hour by car and is always worth a visit with its many shops, local butchers and very good selection of cafés and pubs. The beach is within 4 miles, shops, pubs and restaurant within 2 miles.

Summary: Very nice cottage. The photos make it look big and when we got inside it was actually as big as photos! Nice places to walk with the dogs. Only a few minutes from the beach. Would highly recommend.

Summary: I booked for a 2 night stay for 2 of us and a dog, and everything was perfect!The house was spotless, extremely well looked after, warm, and had absolutely everything that was needed. Everything had been thought about. Louise was also great and couldnâ€™t do enough for us, and was very welcoming. The location was great, and was exactly what we were looking for, for a countryside get away near the coast. We absolutely will be booking again, and look forward to it.

Summary: We stayed at the Old Granary in December 2024 as a pre-Christmas break, we had a wonderful break in this cottage. The cottage itself is stunning, and has everything we needed for a short break. We loved the hot tub and the peaceful surroundings, fabulous host who warmly welcomed us with some lovely goodies, who was on hand for anything we needed during our stay.We'd definitely like to return another time!

Summary: We had a lovely few days relaxing and made the most of the hot tub even at minus temps. Everything you need at your fingertips. Fireplace great focal point of the cottage. Great host made sure we had all we needed. Coast short drive away

Summary: Check in and check out process was flawless. Cottage had everything in it that you could ever need. Property owner was extremely helpful. Was a very good base for the trips to the coast that we had planned. Would certainly stay again.

Summary: . Had a wonderful weekend in a beautiful cottage with wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Interior is even better than the pictures and using the hot tub under the Starlight was amazing. Lovely beaches nearby. Definitely be back
