Set at the end of a quiet, unmade lane, yet within easy reach of Goonhavern village and the town of Perranporth, the cottages enjoy delightful panoramic views over an undulating landscape.

Summary: Absolutely wonderful week away with loads of outside space for our dog to run and excerise. Lovely walks close by with a choice of dog friendly beaches too. Hollie Cottage was perfect it was cosy, comfortable and clean; we've rented many holiday properties over the last twenty years and I can honestly say this one is the best by far!

Summary: We had an amazing stay. Not just a beautiful cottage and surrounding grounds, but they clearly put so much thought into making it really relaxing for their guests. Everything we needed (and more) was there for us. We loved all the thought they’d put into our stay. The kitchen was compact but well equipped, and stocked with cleaning products, foil, baking paper, oils, seasoning, torch etc. Touches like the welcome pack and the doggy blankets were lovely - and all the garden equipment, stuff for the seaside, and wood for the burner, made the stay better still. Everything was in lovely condition, and it is obvious that a lot of care and thought has gone in to the cottage. We've even taken a few home design ideas back with us. The balcony was lovely. So peaceful. With lovely views. The space beneath it was really useful too. When you travel with bicycles, it's often a headache storing and securing them - so having that space made everything so much easier. Having a private garden, and use of the huge’ min garden was great. I’ve never seen our dog so happy. So much thought has also gone into making the space a haven for wildlife. The kids are going to miss sitting at the kitchen table with the door open, watching and listening to the birds. Such a lovely way to kickstart the day. The location is great. Obviously very near to Perranporth beaches, but it also took us under 45 mins to drive to the other side and visit the beaches around Gorran Haven – Vault and Hemmick beaches were a wonderfully quiet antidote to the busy-ness of Perranporth. We loved St Agnes, which is 10 mins from the cottage. Gail & Simon also provided a wonderful list of recommended walks - we really enjoyed the circular walk from St Agnes. And if we needed anything, it was great how responsive they were - be it a knock at the door, or an email. Gail & Simon made us feel really welcome. I don't think we've ever left somewhere so relaxed. So much so that we couldn't wait to book our return visit. And we have already done so. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Summary: Very comfortable, we felt very welcome and really enjoyed our stay. It was a very easy drive into Newquay and there was lots to do in the local area. The cottage is located up a very narrow byway which is a surprise at first but doesn't take long to get used to, plus it adds to making you feel very secure and safe. It was very homely and cosy and had everything you could have needed. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend to others!
