Positive: The location is an easy walk to the centre of town. The location was quiet. The room was old but comfortable. The auto-sensor lights that automatically turn on in the corridor.

Negative: The huge number of WARNINGS printed on A4 paper. For example, "Don't unplug the mini fridge in your room or it will leak and we'll claim damages." (I understand the owner's concerns, but it would be better to get a fridge that won't leak.) This creates an unwelcome atmosphere.

Summary: Follow the rules and you'll be fine

Positive: I liked this little hotel. The room was in a traditional style. There was a nice bathroom and a washing machine. There was a kettle, but there was nothing else for cooking. The location is excellent. The administrator is friendly. The internet was working well

Positive: I stayed one night. Japanese style guest house, most of the time no one was in the reception. There are few security cameras inside that followed the guest (a bit creepy) A good price !

Positive: I was abit concerned after reading the reviews, but to be honest I had a pleasant stay for 1 night. The room was quiet (thanks to the other guets) and spacious enough, with AC, a little table and a fridge. The location is great if you need to be close to the station. There is a convenience store with a good restaurant next to it at about 5 min on foot. You get a key for the building and one for your room.

Negative: The toilet and bathroom could have been cleaner. The host explained everything I needed to know, but other than that there was no interaction. He's not there most of the time. It wasn't a problem for me, but it might feel a bit "cold".

Positive: Comfi place close to station and a good ceramics museum. And different from other reviews, I did find a restaurant nearby. Same goes for a convenience store.
