Positive: What a great experience! It was the best stay we had during our whole trip in Japan (we stayed at like 6 different places). The owner was so lovely! He picked us up in his car at the train station (and dropped us off as well), talked a lot about the city and history, and cooked the best Japanese-style breakfast we had - and he is simply a great guy! The B&B itself is also amazing - it's small (3 or 4 rooms, I think), very cozy, renovated, clean, and the futons were super comfortable. Really, there is nothing I would change in this place! I wish every place were like this! Also, the location is good - you can walk to the historical part of town or take a bus.

Negative: Nothing, it was perfect!

Positive: A wonderful stay! By far the best breakfast we had in Japan. A fantastic homemade bread with organic dishes that make you want to go out of bed. .. While the beds were also the best we had in our trip (we tried 6 hotels)! Finally a last golden medal for the friendliness of the host. Thank you again Carmay for your devotion and nice discussions.

Positive: Love the size of a room. We enjoyed the breakfast and fresh bread every day. We basically walked from our hotel everywhere because everything was by walking distance from our hotel.

Positive: Great location in a new house away from over developed tourist area but close enough to walk to most everything. Stayed 3 nights in clean, comfortable Japanese style room with private bathroom and started every morning with a great Japanese breakfast put together by the proprietor and his family. Owner is a fantastic guy who went out of his way to make our stay memorable - highly recommended

Positive: Half way through our month long journey through Japan, we had the luck to stay at Sunmoon BnB and it was our favourite accommodation by far. The rooms are clean and spacious, the host is the sweetest person you can meet. Being a host and taking care of his guests seems to really be his passion and the breakfast made by ingredients from his own farm was the best that we had in Japan. If you are not staying there, you are really missing out! Thanks a lot for having us!

Positive: We enjoyed a lot our stay in Kanazawa thanks to the beautiful familiar atmosphere we found in Bnb Sunmoon. Carmay, the host, and his family have been really nice and helpful. The homemade typical breakfasts were delicious. The room was beautiful, clean and really big comparing the Japanese standard, as it was the private bathroom, with a big and comfortable shower. It is really close to the typical neighborhood of Higashiyama district and it's very well served by the local buses. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Positive: Host is great, really nice and considerate. Great breakfast. Room is quite spacious. It's right next to the geisha district which is really nice.

Negative: Room could be cleaner, nothing was really dirty but the trash was already half full when I checked in. Public transportation (train/bus) is a bit far.
