Positive: The best stay ever. Everyone working here is super kind. The place is very nice, there’s a beautiful dog and cat wandering around the outside which gives the place a cozy ambiance. They have great guided tours, and you can use their bikes to move around Iriomote for free. There’s a beautiful beach down the path and a lot of other beaches where you will be alone. Free shuttle bus back to the ferry port too. Thank you!

Positive: Ako was an amazing and super helpful host. She even came round to make sure we managed to get the only ferry off the island that was running due to Tsunami warnings. Also provided 2 bikes free of charge for our use. Great location - easily accessible by public transport and 2 min walk to beach.

Positive: We loved the location, and the place is very nice, exceptionally clean and tastefully designed, and decorated. It's not big, so perfect for outdoorsy people who need a place to crash for the night. It has a small kitchenette with all the essentials. Small fridge and toaster oven. Very nice staff member helped us with check-in, great service, English speaking as we sadly don't speak Japanese.

Positive: Great location near nice beach. Very friendly owner who supported us with nice day trips . Clean apartment, comfortable bed.

Negative: Very steep uncomfortable ladder to loft with bed. Extra charge for towels, cutlery etc. (Although owner waived the charge due to unclear description on booking.com site). Not the best price quality ratio we had during our vacation

Positive: Padoma was in a lovely quiet part of the island, and right by a beautiful beach! The host was really great, and helped us with many things. There was a great local restaurant nearby. He also had a very cute cat and dog!

Negative: The buses on the island to get to the accomodation were limited, but this wasn’t too much of an issue as we managed to time our ferry to align with a bus and our host was very accommodating and helpful when it came to transport :)

Summary: We loved our stay at Padoma. It was such a beautiful location!
