Positive: It was a very wonderful stay with amazing hosts. We got lucky and almost had the cabin to ourselves. The kitchen was also well equiped. The outside feel was wonderful and felt as being in nature camping but more comfortable. Also a very nice shared space.

Negative: For people arriving with public transport, the location is 25 minutes from the train station which can be a longer walk for some.

Positive: An amazing place! We stopped here during the Ohenro pilgrimage. The host was incredibly friendly. The beds were very comfortable. Fresh towels, high-quality shower gel, and shampoo were provided. There’s also a spacious co-working area and a very friendly ginger cat. Highly recommended!

Positive: This is a private run hostel in a private property, run by a family. The members of this family are the nicest, not only did they pick me up at the trainsation on arrive l, but on the day of departure, they drove me all the way to Kochi and not to the closest trainstation 😯. Positive: Superior for a dorm room, you get as much privacy as one can have in a shared room, with almost capsule like wooden bunk beds. Beautiful and functional design, nice common areas and well kept facilities. Location is little out of city Center, but close enough to the nearest train station. Good for people who enjoy quality of sleep and local suburbs. Most importantly the staff is amazing, making your stay exceptional.

Summary: As a regular guest of hostels & guesthouses, this was one of my best stays!

Positive: This place was brilliant. The hosts were so friendly and we loved the coworking space next door to the guesthouse. We were able to catch up with a little work as well as get a great night's sleep. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful and there were many shops nearby. Tomaruku was an excellent choice and we would love to return one day in the near future.

Negative: Everything was perfect.
