Positive: The little house is located in a beautiful spot in the middle of nature. It’s very calm and we were lucky having good and sunny weather. The owner was particularly nice and had left the door open and light on when we arrived in the middle of the night. We could directly come in and go to bed. The immediate surroundings of the house are countryside, with animals and trees and the whole family loved it. Thanks for having us!

Negative: The equipments in the bathroom (shower and WC) are getting older so it would be nice to get them renewed at some point, but nothing really alarming here. It's still perfectly functional even though it's not modern.

Positive: Very nice location in the middle of nature with horses waving from the meadow next to the house. Outdoor spaces and quiet in the beautiful garden.

Negative: There is no sink in the kitchen which is therefore not very functional.

Positive: Such a warm host and a cosy private appartment. I felt very welcome. It was just a short stay on my way to the ferry to Norway, and it was a nice calm place to rest. Very peacefull place and environment.

Negative: There is a little kitchenette, but it has no sink. It's great for warming up a simple meal and making coffee, but travellers need to be aware that it's not really equipped for making elaborate meals.

Positive: Very nice and calm environment. It was a beautiful countryside house with very nice and cozy rooms.

Negative: There wasn’t anything specific we didn’t like about the property, I just had to be careful when walking thought the rooms as I’m very tall and the ceiling are quite low :)

Positive: Lovely flat, very nicely furnished and super helpful host. We arrived late and she was so accommodating. Lovely rural location.

Negative: Very little. it's not a proper kitchen but we didn't need one. Coffee maker and basics were there.

Summary: Great stopover near Hirsthals ferry for a family, and would be happy to stay for another night.

Positive: Unfortunately something went wrong with our booking for this night so we stayed at a friend of Susanne instead as we stayed only for the night after arriving from the ferry. This was also a lovely place to stay at the farm Norrgard. Comfortable beds. Thank you for the bottle of wine on arrival. This was a good solution.

Positive: It was a lovely cottage in a rural and peaceful setting. The beds were comfortabel. There is small kitchenette with a fridge and microwave but no water but we could leave the washing up. Perfect place for a short stop. So nice to have horses outside to view and the lovely host Susanne took the time to talk to us.

Negative: If anything than the minuspoint is that you have to take the water from the bathroom.
