Positive: Super friendly staff, they left towels out at the entrance when they found out we were arriving after rain. Very well stocked kitchen with all crockery as well as sauses and condements. The house was beautiful and very clean. It's located right next to the old town so it's ideal for exploring Kurashiki. They had a good projector which we used to watch TV.

Positive: All is great.The decoration is astonishingly beautiful. The welcome of the owner is very warm and sympathic. The house is very near of Bikan historical centre, just one street to reach Bikan

Positive: The location is good for reaching the historical district as yet a bit off the main stream of tourists, which means very local and quiet. The structure of the rooms are ideal for a family and/or three pairs of friends.

Positive: There are not enough amazing things I can say about this incredible home. While Kurashiki itself is a lovely place to visit, this home was the icing on the (denim) cake. Perfectly situated within walking distance to the Bikan Historical area, and even a conbini. My group of five enjoyed comfy beds, a great communal area to play cards and watch the (huge) projection TV, and a well equipped kitchen. I could only hope there would be availability here if we come back to Kurashiki someday. Thank you!!!!

Positive: Such a beautiful home with the loveliest owners. The owner met us and gave us a tour around the house and his daughter wrote us a gorgeous letter and made origami! We felt so welcome. The home is in a perfect location close to the historial district but away from the hustle and bustle. It had everything we needed and was especially great for our 1.5 year old son with a whole Japanese play room with toys! It would be perfect for a younger baby too as the owner had a baby bath, a rocker and other baby items. Definitely recommend this home for anyone but especially those with young children!

Positive: Spacious, clean and thoughtfully appointed. Quality mattresses and bedding. Comfortable seating. Projector with Amazon Firestick and quality speakers. Double basin in the bathroom. Good water pressure. 2 bedrooms upstairs, sleeps 6 adults. 1 bedroom downstairs, sleeps 2 adults. The owners are very thoughtful. They've stuck photos showing the contents of kitchen drawers on the outside of each drawer. They have provided torches in most rooms, plus remote control lights. Some toiletries are provided. The owners have even created a tatami room at the back with lots of different kimono to try on and a drawer full of building blocks for the kids. Cheap parking a 3 minute walk away (was 700 yen for 24 hours in Oct '24). Parking tends to fill up by 5pm.

Negative: Everything was great. We would stay here again and wish we stayed longer. There's nothing not to like.
