Positive: Location was ideal, toilets were clean

Negative: No parking in the premises. They didn't provide secured cabinets to store personal belongings. Had to purchase a lock (although not expensive) to secure my stuff

Positive: We had a great stay in here. A bed was very comfortable, rooms and other facilities were so clean every time, there was a toilet paper in washroom. We made some new friends in the cozy common space.

Positive: The hostel's location and staff are excellent, and the rooms are nice too.

Negative: The hostel washroom needs some cleaning, and the drainage water from the washbasin spills all over the floor.

Positive: Location is good, near a lot of shops.

Negative: We had to change the dates of our stay due to an illness that delayed our arrival - we contacted the property through booking.com with a request to change the dates, they wouldn’t respond via booking.com and changed the mode of communication to WhatsApp, despite me telling them that my partner and I were very ill they wouldn’t stop calling us. They became very abrupt in their response and it was difficult to deal with and caused confusion. Even though in the end they did sort out our booking and were able to change the dates for us, it was not pleasant dealing with the staff. Communication through WhatsApp also meant that the change of our booking wasn’t reflected on booking.com which felt unprofessional. When we arrived the check in process was done via our phone, it was lengthy and inconvenient. We also arrived on a Sunday night - there was a music night being hosted (every Sunday) that was extremely loud. It was also loud a lot of the other nights because there’s a restaurant at the back that’s open late night and the seating is right outside the bedroom windows. We only had hot water one of the four nights we were there, and the beds were very hard. On our last morning we had an early morning train so we had to leave at 5am - we clearly communicated this with the staff but upon trying to leave we found that we had been locked in. We had to search around to find staff and wake them up to be let out. Also should be noted that some of the pictures of what looks like a communal outdoor area is in fact the restaurant and not the hostel itself - which felt a bit misleading.

Summary: Not the worst but not worth it.
