Positive: After you have done 50/100+ reviews for budget accommodation, it becomes a PITA, and you just enter a score, hit finish, and move on. Occasionally, though, you find a place so good you just have to say something. After weeks of being in places where there was either traffic noise, calls to prayer, roosters crowing, frogs croaking, dogs barking, night insects chirping, etc, Zizi Homey Room 202 was GLORIOUSLY QUIET. Besides the quietness, the accommadation seems brand new. The room was sparkling clean and smelt amazing (automatic air freshener), quality bed linen (loved the bolster), AC, hot water (not always a given in Sumatra) and multi plug/USB wall sockets to mention just a few of many. Also, good communication with host Zizi about check-in/out and restaurants/shops/activities in the area. All in all, a great place to stay at a very reasonable price. Ohhh. Forgot to mention, there is a kitchen on the ground floor which I did not use but assume guests could if they were staying long term??

Positive: The best stay i’ve had in my 3 months of travelling around indonesia, for the price you pay it is more than exceptional. Room was crystal clean and smelled very pleasant, Beds were comfy and also very clean. Ac is very good here and also there is international plug sockets in the wall so no adapter needed! The host was also very hospitable and welcoming and provided helpful information about the area and is always able to answer your queries on whatsapp. The maid is also very nice and will sort out anything you need.
