Positive: The property is in an excellent location with just a short walk to the restaurants and beaches at St James. The staff at Golden View are welcoming and helpful. The grounds are beautifully maintained as is the large pool. The 24 hour security is comforting too! We enjoyed having this peaceful haven to return to after a busy day sightseeing.

Negative: Unfortunately, although the apartment has all the necessary kitchen equipment and towels, the furniture is dated and the bed is hard and extremely squeaky! The blinds in the balcony could not be adjusted and this is possibly due to the age and poor condition of the blinds. The bedroom windows were fixed shut so we didn’t have any fresh air. There are so many apartments in Golden View which have been modernised but unfortunately, apt 115 is not one of them. Maybe a repaint and updated furniture would entice us to book this apt again.

Summary: An enjoyable stay at Golen View. But apartment 115 would benefit from repainting and updating the bed and furniture.

Positive: Great location - short walk to beach, supermarket and restaurants. On ground floor so balcony opens directly onto gardens and pool. Pool fabulous - really well kept premises. Apartment had everything we needed.

Negative: The squeakiest bed I have ever been in - not recommended if you are on honeymoon :-). Apartment not quite as photos as is quite dated.

Positive: This is a nice apartment in a really lovely setting. The unit is comfortable and well-fitted, with a large verandah opening directly into the extensive grounds and excellent pool area - and the pool is awesome ! Dili, the host, is really responsive and solved any questions or issues immediately, and the housekeeper Pauline is also just lovely. The condo itself is very quiet and secure, with 24 hour front desk, shared laundry & library and we loved our time here. It's only a short walk to the supermarket, beach and Holetown restaurants - there's a great shortcut that starts right behind #31 Cherry Ave 😊

Negative: Loved it all and even saw some monkeys one day 😊

Summary: Excellent place for a very relaxing stay - loved it !
