Positive: We liked everything- the appartment is really clean, and well equipped. The pool area is nice and we practically were the only one using it by the time we were there. It felt kind of like a private pool. We would gladly book ithe appartment again.

Positive: We liked absolutely everything about this apartment. Let me start by saying that the pictures do not do this accommodation justice. When we walked through the door to the apartment we were so thrilled at how modern, clean, well appointed and spacious it was. The kitchen was well stocked, including a washing machine. When we arrived we already had chilled water and juice in the fridge as well as fruit. The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. The water pressure was excellent. Everything was at a first class rate and so reasonable priced. The pool area was stunning as were the sea views from the apartment. Parking was available in front. The proprietors, Yiani and Athanasia were friendly, accommodating and very helpful. It is close by to Rethymno, beaches and a number of mountain villages where you could dine at superb, authentic tavernas. We have already committed to returning next year with our entire family. This accommodation truly was exceptional and we would recommend it for couples and families who are looking for first class accommodation on a reasonable budget.

Positive: The gentleman who owned the property met me at the door at the time I specified even though it was 1am. The apartment was beautiful, so clean and the beds very comfortable. They cleaned the apartment almost every day. Very friendly. Overall a wonderful stay.

Negative: I suppose the location was a little out the way. To get to the main town of Rethymno it’s around 22 euros each way. But there’s a supermarket not far to walk down the road for all your amenities.

Positive: Zen apartments are beautifully maintained. They are fresh and modern with first rate fixtures and fittings, including top of the range furniture and appliances. There are also touches of luxury and attention to detail, including hotel style bath robes and slippers.. There is even an optional daily cleaning service! The pool area is very relaxing and comfortable. The owner is very helpful and friendly. He and his wife keep the property and communal areas exceptionally clean and tidy!
