This two-story home offers a stunning view of Mt. Diablo, a serene location no more than five minutes from downtown, and a regional trail just steps away. Both bedrooms lead to a private shaded patio, where you can enjoy all the scenery this property has to offer.
The unit is two stories and separated by a stylish spiral staircase. Located upstairs is the kitchen, living room, and dining area. The kitchen is fully-stocked and includes a full-sized fridge/freezer, gas stovetop, oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. The dining table comfortably seats six people.
The bathroom and bedrooms are located downstairs. The bathroom features double pedestal sinks and a Jacuzzi tub/shower. The primary bedroom is equipped with a double bed, an office desk/chair, and a walk-in closet. The second bedroom includes a double bed and storage closet. A full-size washer/dryer is located downstairs for your conveniece.
(Note: To access the bathroom from the second bedroom, walking through the primary suite is required).
Both bedrooms provide direct access to the shaded patio and backyard. Once outside, a set of stairs will lead you to the peaceful Zen garden, pergola, and one-hole putting green.
The house consists of two units, one of which is permanently occupied. You will have full access to the private rental unit, the front/back porches, and the backyard/pergola/lawn area. No indoor spaces will be shared. While the yard is shared, your privacy will be respected.
There will be two available parking spots on the street near the property. The driveway is reserved for electric vehicles. Please note that we cannot safely accommodate large trucks, vans, or RVs. Thank you for understanding.

Summary: We booked this property while we were visiting family in the area. The host was pleasant, communicative, and helpful. The grounds of this property and tranquil and lovely while the unit had everything we needed. The view of Mt. Diablo is stunning. Overall, we were very pleased.

Summary: Private, nicely furnished unit has its own deck in a luxurious, serene backyard. The unit itself has a complete kitchen minus only a dishwasher. It is spacious with kitchen and living room upstairs and 2 bedrooms that sleep 3 downstairs. Downstairs has 2 doors that open onto the deck. The owner Is responsive to questions and even brought in a room air conditioner during a week of record high temperatures. I was here 6 weeks while awaiting construction of my own condo nearby. The location is mere minutes from downtown, freeways and the BART transit system. I rarely needed my car. There is an entrance to the Lafayette-Moraga trail within a block and I enjoyed many great walks to and from downtown Lafayette.

Summary: We really loved coming back after long days out and about. It is very cozy, clean, and has a lot of added nice touches to make the stay special. The kitchen is FULLY stocked with every tool you need to cook and enjoy meals together. It really felt like a home away from home for us. Luisa is WONDERFUL, responsive and very thoughtful. We are hoping to stay again soon!

Summary: I would recommend this property in a heartbeat! The house is impeccably clean and it is very clear that Luisa paid attention to even the smallest details (phone chargers by the couch, lots of snacks, very useful signs, a very cute welcome corner with a bowl and treats for our dog…). Everything about our experience was so easy and pleasant. Lafayette was lovely and taking the BART to go to SF was very simple. I am looking forward to going back!
