Positive: Beautiful, peaceful and tranquil in a secure secluded location close to many locations of interest. Nice fusion of traditional rustic architecture and natural contemporary features.

Negative: The surrounding roads are less well kept but these are not in the property itself.

Summary: Relaxing stay in a beautiful mediterranean paradise.

Positive: Loved our "svit deluxe" - modern and luxurious, very comfortable bed and exceptional cleaning. We got the room several hours earlier than check-in at no extra cost - very much appreciated. The pool area is very beautiful - you can see Etna as a backdrop. Breakfast was excellent - best omelette I had on a long time. Alessio who works breakfast and lunch, was extremely service-minded and super friendly - he was the best! Unfortunately the staff working at dinner was not nearly as good.. Only 30 minutes by car to Taormina (cost 65 euro one way).

Negative: The Michelin restaurant was unfortunately a big disappointment for us. The service was slow and poor. Took 35 minutes to order or get a drink. We ate there two nights and the service was equally bad both times. Several wines on the list were not available. The food was ok, but not more than that. Had to send back a fish dish that was overcooked and tasteless. Have eaten at many Michelin restaurants around the world but this one was unfortunately one of the worst. The tasting menu is not worth the money! Lunch was good but very limited menu.

Positive: We paid extra for an upgraded room that was a real improvement. The restaurant manager was ver professional and service minded

Negative: 1/ Charges for basic entry to the Spa 2/ Evening meals very limited unless you take the Michelin Star menu. 3/ Reception staff not really friendly 4/ internet was rubbish

Positive: Amazing location inbetween the ocean and mount etna, on an orange and lemon orchard. The pool area is out of this world and the Michelin starred restaurant incredible. The rooms are beautifully designed and spacious. Breakfast was served on the sunny terrace overlooking the orchards and ocean, we enjoyed the homemade orange marmalade and orange blossom honey!

Negative: Everything was absolutely perfect, the only thing I would recommend to improve was the staff at the reception on our arrival was a bit awkward and responded a bit odd to simple/ standard questions.

Summary: Absolutely one of our favorite hotels on the island and a little paradise. Incredible views, wonderful food and gorgeous
