Summary: I would highly recommend anyone doing the shimanami kaido to stay here! It does make for a longer second day to complete the bike ride as it’s before the official halfway point but the hotel it self it absolutely stunning with the onsen we throughly enjoyed everything about this hotel.

Summary: Lovely small on the Shimanami Kaido bicycle route. Spacious room with Japanese style beds on raised platform and tatami mat sitting area with table and cushions. In-room amenities included electric kettle with tea and coffee supplies, Bose Bluetooth speaker, safe, complimentary water, juice, and beer. Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. There are onsite baths, but we didn’t use them. The hotel is located on a charming street, just a few steps from the water and right near the ferry port. There were several restaurants but midweek many were closed. We did enjoy dinner at a place specializing in eel tempura which was very good, and there is a cafe a few steps away that makes excellent coffee.

Summary: A clean japanese style room with wonderful japanese baths and amenities. Worth the money to come here at midpoint of our bike trip. Would stay here again no question

Summary: We stayed at Yubune in the midst of a two day cycling trip and it was a lovely respite. The hotel was spotless and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Also, the rooms was nicely appointed and very comfortable. I would highly recommend!
