Negative: The property is located near a busy junction so there was some road noise late at night and early in the morning however this wasn't disruptive

Positive: Sitio estratégico de Montevideo, justo al lado de un parque y entre el centro y la zona exclusiva de la ciudad. Pedí la habitación privada. Me gustó la separación entre mesa y cama (justo encima, como un mezzanine). El baño, justo al lado, pero entendiendo que se trata de un hostal, es compartido, aunque hay otros baños. Los espacios comunes eran muy agradables: cocina, sala de estar.

Negative: No me molestó en absoluto, pero podrían cambiar algunos sartenes (tener uno antiadherente)

Positive: Great location! The staff were super nice and the bathrooms were great (super clean and fantastic hot water pressure). Dorms are comfy and common spaces are also cozy and clean.

Negative: There can sometimes be a bit of a rush for the bathroom in the morning as the floor with the dorms on it only has one bathroom. It was manageable but could be a bit frustrating in peak holiday seasons.

Positive: It was cheapest option in the area for private room. Pretty expensive though as everything in Montevideo. Room was clean, bed was comfy, bed linens were fresh. Common area is spacious and cozy, especially the terrace. Host speaks many languages and ready to help you. And they have axolotle!

Negative: Still, it's just a room in the hostel, without private bathroom. Quite noisy, because the windows are looking at the big crossroad. There were A LOT of mosquitoes, especially in the bathroom.

Positive: Comfortable facilities, they clean them everyday. Most of the staff is nice and solicitous. Good location with good infrastructure.

Negative: They charged me an extra USD per day; I don’t understand why. At their price point, they should provide at least free towels and maybe a simple breakfast. There wasn’t enough room in the refrigerator. And while most of the staff was very nice and solicitous, at least one was not very nice.
