Positive: The Yolo loft was spotlessly clean, had an amazing view and had all the amenities you need. Best of all is the stunning view from the balcony where you can sit watching the waves with a morning coffee. Elpida was such a kind host and even left us some wine and other goodies on our first night which made us feel very welcome. We loved walking into Alykes each night for dinner and then coming home to our quiet apartment which is just a 10 minute walk to town. Highly recommend!

Positive: The property is modern and has the most beautiful view of Alykes coast. The beds were comfortable and bathroom was spacious. Our host also left us some red wine and nibbles on our arrival which was a nice touch. Air con was amazing and most needed!!

Negative: The property allowed us to book as a family of four and does not have the storage space to accommodate this many people leaving myself having to leave my clothes left on the balcony in my suitcase. My main issue is our towels and bedsheets were only changed once in our 11 night stay. Also the room does not have maid service which means you either clean it yourself or live in a mess which is something I didn’t want to be doing on holiday. All the other local hotels/villas clean rooms and change beds/towels every other day so as we paid a premium price we did not get the service our other friends and family did located in other villas. When we spoke about this with our host we were informed that we should upkeep the property and if we wanted a cleaner it would cost 10 Euro per hour. It’s a real shame as if this service was included my scores would be a 10 all around as the property really does have everything else in place to be the best in the area.
