Negative: Staff was cleaning upon arrival. Offered late checkout though, so it was fine.

Positive: This home was the perfect location to enjoy the part of Austin we wanted to explore! It is within walking distance of cute coffee shops and restaurants and a quick drive to South Congress, Zilker Park, etc. Covered parking for two cars was a plus! The home was immaculate with modern and upscale finishes and well stocked with towels, paper products, soap, shampoo, etc. The beds were comfy, and the hosts thought of many extras like additional blankets and pillows. A coffee pot (and coffee provided), a Keurig (we brought pods), nice mugs, dishes, and appliances. The main bathroom has a huge double shower - very fancy! Communication (text updates, etc.) was fantastic! We had no questions or issues; we even got a text we could check in quite early - that was awesome! The neighborhood is nice and quiet :) We have already recommended this home to others visiting Austin.

Negative: Our only critique was this house needs more comfy furniture! We had a baby with us, so for a few hours each afternoon and evening, we were "home" wanting to watch March Madness, and it was just a little tight for a group of adults (haha, family togetherness!) Might be because we are all tall, but the one "Ikea style" couch and chair was not enough. That space could be used better. All the furniture, including bar stools, was just wobbly and cheap for such a lovely home! I get it's a rental place, so it probably needs replacing often. Also, adding some lawn furniture would be nice! The yard is pretty (we even did an easter egg hunt for my grandson), but there are only two wobbly wooden chairs for seating.

Positive: We had a nice stay during Formula 1 weekend. The house was clean, tasteful, and comfortable, and had all the amenities that we needed. It is well located in a neighborhood south of Austin proper, with a few decent restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.

Negative: Between the jacked up prices during Formula 1 weekend (it seemed ALL hotels and rentals in the area were over charging) and the taxes, this home was very expensive. While I loved the place, location and service, I am not sure I would rent it again. I also didn't like that, for the price we paid, we had no leniency with check out time and had to vacate by 10a.m.
