Positive: The location was pleasant and central. Not too far from shops or beach. Park across the road was nice. The apartment was clean and tidy upon arrival. They had the air con on for us already.

Negative: Unfortunately the view from the balcony was terrible. I understand that not all places can have the best views, but perhaps they should be charging less to look at the fire escape in the corner or advise what unit you will be getting in advance so you can decide (unless I missed that somewhere). The apartment had an unpleasant smell when the air conditioning was first turned on. It was also noticeable when you first opened the door. The drain in the kitchen was continuing to make gurgling noises, like there was an issue with drainage. There needs to be more kitchen utensils. There was no chopping board, no oven tray or oven mitts, no spatula, no mixing bowls. Even a salt and pepper would have been appreciated (but not essential). The actual public areas of the complex needed a thorough clean. Especially the hallways and surrounds.

Summary: The unit was clean, tidy and quite modern. The view not so good.

Positive: It was close to where we needed to be and it has parking and security gate. The instructions for checking in was clear and easy, we had no trouble finding our way. The unit was basic but it has laundry facilities and that’s what we needed.

Negative: The food smell from the cooking inside the unit from check-in until we check out it was still there. We didn’t cook anything at all during our stay.
