Positive: Hotel is newly renovated and room is spacious. I like the outdoor onsen . They have bike rental , carpark, children playroom and even table tennis

Positive: This should have 4 stars! We booked this hotel for 4 nights, with the intent to discover the region. One of the things attracting us was that it was recently (re-) opened. This was true: All was clean and speckless with an up to date look and furnishings, although te structure is clearly older. The room was very spacious, quiet and with a balcony towards the Mountain and the stream. Very nice. Good and +sized beds. The restaurant is buffet style and sort of a canteen atmosphere (but a good one!). We had diner once, but we're not all inclusive guests. The breakfast is there also and has great choice (except for good coffee, which is better and free in the lobby) The onsen itself is spacious and has a nice atmosphere. Used it a few times but was not the main purpose of our stay. Nice they also have a sauna. The cold bath could be a lot colder, but guess that is too much for the predominately Japanese guests. Special thanks to the staff. They do have English speakers. Helped me out by charging my laptop and even offered my wife a hotel gown for free when we asked if we could buy one. Certainly a place we would recommend to friends and family! A car is convenient to visit the area. The hotel is also booked by bus groups

Negative: I would not book all inclusive if I would stay for multiple days. The restaurant atmosphere isn't the best. For breakfast however it is convenient.

Positive: The staff were brilliant and incredibly helpful. Our room was beautiful and spacious The facilities were amazing and the food was delicious with the best French toast I’ve ever eaten and the rice balls were “oishi” and the young lady preparing them to order was so friendly. I would like to be greeted by her EVERY morning ! What a wonderful start to the day.

Negative: Nothing ….. we were very happy with everything!

Positive: -The hot spring was amazing and there was a sauna. -We can have welcome drink whenever we want at the lobby. Which was available multiple times while we stayed. -Breakfast and dinner was great. We could enjoy the local dishes.

Negative: -There were a lot of spider webs on the balcony.

Positive: The facilities had been beautifully refurbished. Check-in and check-out were efficient. The selection of complimentary drinks was excellent. The public bath was excellent. ( Refa hairdryer was good) The bed was very comfortable.

Negative: The geta (room shoes) provided in the room were hard to walk in the hotel.

Summary: More than my expectation!
