Positive: Wonderful location, clean, functional and comfortable.

Negative: Would be nice if you could add a steamer or iron for your guests for clothing. We accidentally broke a plate as we were washing dishes the day we left, I can pay for the plate or give you a credit card to charge to replace the plate.

Positive: We stayed for 10 days in the lovely Yalda apartment no. 102. It's close to the Kanazawa Loop Bus stop (which takes you to all the highlights for a small fee), 17 meters from the post office, 10 meters from a nice restaurant, and across the street is the magnificent 21st Century Modern Art Museum (where you can also enjoy a great lunch!). The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen/living room, a nice bathroom with a washing machine, and two large bedrooms on the first floor. Maiko is a super sweet host who did everything she could to make our stay a wonderful one. We had a fantastic time in Kanazawa with our son, daughter-in-law, and beautiful grandchild, staying in the lovely Yalda apartment. Highly recommended!

Positive: Amazing facilities and location, smelled beautiful and amazing value

Negative: Make sure you bring an eye mask if staying in the smaller apartment - there is a street light that beams all night through the window, making the room very bright as the window coverings are semi transparent and allow light in.

Positive: Lovely aesthetic and well thought through provisions. The coffee was great! It was well located and beds were comfy.

Negative: Steep stairs with no handrail which were tricky with a toddler. No comfortable communal seating but we managed ok and were in bed early so didn’t affect us too much.

Positive: We had such a lovely stay at Yalda Apartment. The whole place was so stylish, comfortable, warm, so spacious for 4 of us, especially after staying in other tiny places around Japan. It really felt like a home. All the natural touches were so lovely and the beds were sooo comfy! Such a special and unique place to stay.

Negative: Only thing was that the location feels a bit away from the best things to do in Kanazawa, felt like we were a bit on the edge of town but in saying that, it’s easy to walk everywhere and bus stops very close by.
