Positive: Yakakutei is one of the most gorgeous onsen ryokans that we’ve visited. We stayed at one of the Japanese style garden units with our own outdoor plunge pool as well as an indoor hot tub. The room was beautiful in traditional style with flawless workmanship in all details, and the garden was also lovely with meticulous landscaping. We spent three nights and had three totally different style of Japanese cuisine for our three dinners, all featuring local Kyushu ingredients and one of which was a private sushi omakase with our own chef. And unlike most Japanese ryokan, Yakakutei has a team of young international staffs from different Asian countries. Special shout out to Mo who is from Myanmar and she took good care of us from the time we checked in and with all of our dinners.
Summary: Gorgeous onsen ryokan with unforgettable meals
