Positive: Pleasant staff, size of room, breakfast quality and quantity. Plenty of hot water and the room was nice and warm even if the outside weather was cold and wet.

Negative: General building was tired and in need of basic maintenance to help put the small issues right before they became a much bigger problem. For example: Our en-suite toilet wouldn't flush and all it needed was the adjustment of a link in the cistern. In many areas of the hotel there was smell of damp but there was no obvious signs of water ingress. This was reported to reception and the flush issue was passed to the right team while we were at the desk. This wouldn't stop us from coming back to stay in the future.

Summary: A lot good, a bit not so good!
