Come join us for a relaxing week or weekend at Woolsey Road Cottage! Nestled in the Russian River Valley is where you will find our beautiful cottage with a covered porch overlooking our orchard, an inviting hot tub and fresh eggs from our girls! Our beautifully designed 840 sf cottage is located on our family’s 7 acre property 10 minutes to Santa Rosa, 15 minutes to the Russian River, 15 minutes to Healdsburg, 45 minutes to the Napa Valley and 1 hr. to San Francisco. Our cottage is perfect for two couples, a friend's getaway weekend or a small family ( children over age 10 only).
For those of you coming to the area to cycle, participate in our year round festivals and events or just to relax, our cottage is perfectly located and comfortably furnished with a full kitchen, bathroom and comfortable king and queen beds. Inside you will find all the necessities of modern life including WiFi, cable television and even a washer and dryer. Outside you have a beautiful covered deck accessible from the living room and master bedroom which overlooks a fully fenced backyard furnished with a BBQ, outdoor eating area, outdoor living room on the deck, hot tub, bocce ball court and lots of privacy.
In the summer and fall months our orchard and garden overflow with fruit and vegetables which we enjoy sharing with our guests. We also have a flock of happy hens (our girls) that love to provide you with fresh eggs (when available).

Summary: This well-appointed, cozy cottage was the perfect stay for my husband and me while vacationing in wine country. The patio/deck area with lots of comfortable seating, hot tub, and grill is surrounded by a fence which gives it a private and relaxing ambience. The kitchen had all the accessories needed to stay in and cook. And for evenings we were too relaxed to cook or go out for dinner, we had several options for Uber Eats. The king size bed was comfortable and the large sofa in the living area made R&R attainable. We also appreciated the in-house washer/dryer to freshen a load of clothes. The location is excellent for a peaceful and quiet (the nearby airport was not bothersome) country-side stay, yet close enough and easy to get somewhere within minutes by vehicle. We will book this cottage again in the future.

Summary: Every minute of our time here was wonderful--the cabin is lovely and set up to be a great place to stay and relax for a while or to serve as a home base as you head out to various local attractions. We looked at properties in Sonoma and Napa proper as well as in Bodega Bay and around the Russian River; the cabin turned out to be the best possible choice because of its easy proximity to EVERYTHING combined with its peaceful, off-the-beaten-path location. Very good wi-fi, very good water pressure (these are things I always wonder about when looking on VRBO), impeccably clean (including the hot tub), and great communication with the owners who were close but never intrusive or hovering. (And look, those farm fresh eggs are no joke! They made for fantastic breakfasts each morning!)

Summary: Our total experience here at the cottage was wonderful! LOVED the Bocce Courts and Hot Tub. It made our evenings very entertaining! The cottage itself was well appointed and the owners were quick to check in and make sure everything was satisfactory. We even received fresh eggs from the hens on the premises from the owners. It was such a treat! We were greeted by Jay the very friendly cat who hated to see us go and went underneath our car to make sure we could not. Thanks Cindy & Bill for a lovely time!

Summary: Cindy was a great host. Although we did not meet or speak in person, she was warm and welcoming in the messages we exchanged. The cottage is in a perfect location with major groceries and shopping nearby, but still felt quiet and secluded. A perfect home base to explore wine country or just stay in and relax. Would absolutely stay again.

Summary: What a great experience my wife and I had at the Woolsey Cottage. It was our cozy, comfortable home after our days of sightseeing and wine tasting in the Sonoma and Napa regions. The owners Cindy and Bill were wonderful. They have a beautiful cottage, and it met our every expectation. The house was super clean. Everythig we need was provided. We had all we needed in the kitchen to do meals every day. Cindy even brought by a fresh dozen eggs one morning from their small farm. Delicious!! The cottage is located in a nice quite area. This made for peaceful, relaxing walks or even evenings in the hot tubs. We could not have had a better experience. This is certainly a cottage we will recommend to family and friends who might want to visit the area. We hope we can make it back there soon.

Summary: What a WONDERFUL cottage located in the middle of the Russian River Valley. Minutes from the Sonoma County Airport, and minutes from dozens of fabulous wineries. The cottage is located on a beautiful plot of land that feels like you are in the country. Cindy (owner) came over to meet us our first day and was a magnificent host our entire stay. She sent us free fresh eggs from their chickens. You cannot go wrong with this cottage!
