Positive: Spacious for four adults, very well equipped kitchen, heating very good, quiet surroundings, bedrooms comfortable . Only ten minutes from Tavistock

Negative: No clothes dryer Could be hard to find in dark. Road to from main road is very rough & tight in places (although relatively short in distance)

Positive: An unexpected gem in our long travel holiday with children: property is fantastic near Tavistock & Dartmoor for a family retreat. Wonderful kitchen, host provided clotted cream & scones, beautiful patio with views, entertainment barn filled with activities for kids (and kids at heart), within walking distance to a scenic hike along a creek, moorland and even close ups to wild ponies! Our only regret was we didn’t stay longer as the whole area was so enjoyable.

Negative: Don’t be intimidated by the narrow hedgerow roads!

Positive: The facilities are brilliant, it's extremely family friendly and having the horses and sheep just outside the garden is lovely to see every morning! Just beautiful.

Negative: It seems to get very hot at night, but you can't control the thermostat as it's on automatic.
